Marques XXV and XXVI in the  Exceptional Cask Series have arrived 🥃

Richard Seale and his never ending dictionary are back with Magisterium and Equipoise. These ECS releases seem to keep getting better and better, and these two are some of the most exciting and most acclaimed we've seen.

🥃 XXVI -- Magisterium -- A blend of three 16yo rums from combination pot and column distillation. The first spent 3 years in ex-Bourbon and 13 in ex-Oloroso Sherry, the second spent 9 years in ex-Bourbon and 7 in ex-Oloroso, and the third spent all 16 years in ex-Bourbon. Bottled at 58%.

🥃 XXV -- Equipoise -- A single blended rum aged for 10 years in ex-Bourbon and 4 years in ex-Calvados barrels. The use of ex-Calvados casks at Foursquare was a poorly kept rumour for a long time, and it's exciting to see it come to fruition!

🍹 Introducing and some of their finest spirits (and liqueur!) 🍹

Maison Carta is a storied wine producer from Sardenia who has also turned their hand to spirits and vermouths with similar success. First and foremost, these are really, really fun little things, and you can tell the excitement they invite from their own descriptions...

🐂 Boigin -- Boigin is, in Maison Carta's words, "young and unscrupulous." Whom among us? A more traditional juniper- and citrus-focussed offering, but with botanical elements infused by fresh-sourced local herbs and plants. The name “Boigin” is a play on 'Bue', the Italian word for ox, if you were wondering.

🐖 Pigskin -- Again from Signor Carta himself -- "a dandy with a hipster soul." 🤨 Light straw-hued from ageing in 100-year-old chestnut barrels, and exhibiting orange-y citrus, sweet spice, and subtle toasty-buttery goodness.

🍊 Sard Orange -- An intense, lively little orangecello using Sardinian fruit. Infused for over 3 months with whole organic oranges and peel, the latter of which makes itself known in the bottle with bright orange-red specks. Yummy in a spritz or just over ice!

So privileged to have the newest vintage release from modern Australian master Timo Mayer in the stores now 🫴🍷

Timo is a winemaker with a strong sense of style guided by an even stronger ethos. These are single vineyard, minimally-messed-with wines that exhibit all the savoury, taut, snappy complexity that the Yarra Valley is capable of. Timo's signature bunch-ferment heavy approach has plenty to do with that!

These are super small batch, super sought after, and (in case you couldn't tell what we think) super compelling wines. Don't miss out here👌

🥃 Pampero Aniversario -- Our favourite pouched Venezuelan friend. Its lighter Spanish-style body contrasted with rich, smoky, leatheriness makes this great Cuba Libre/Daiquiri ammo, but it's unmistakeably sippable too

There’s so much to learn and enjoy and he truly gave the experience, all without leaving Inglewood!! Featuring and there was truly something for all!

On tasting at both stores this weekend: the wonderful 😍

Join us on Friday afternoon at Inglewood and Saturday afternoon at Noranda to have a sticky beak at this favourite of ours! With Stuart Pym and Janice McDonald at the helm, a wealth of Margaret River winemaking knowledge is poured into a house style that is distinguished, precise, and pure. Expect super Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, and Touriga, as well as two ripping little blends 🥂

Look what we .beers in our fridges, loitering with intent to cause tastiness and refreshment.
🍺 Found Super is a carefully crafted 5.2% Hazy Pale with lovely tropical aromas, enough weight in the mouth to let you know you’re drinking a beer and a mild bitterness to clean it all up. All in all, an excellent “end of a long day” brew, satisfying but not overly heavy. You’ll look forward to reaching for a second.

Back where they should be -- together on our Bourbon shelves ❤️ These three Four Roses are back in DeVine now 🌹🌹🌹

Four Roses has long been a Bourbon staple, producing genuinely unique and interesting whiskies via their 10-recipe system. When you factor in the price point, these are such good propositions both for sipping and mixing. There's a floral character throughout all the marques, as well as a satisfying nuttiness that gets more pronounced as the proof rounds up in the Small Batch and Single Barrel 🥃

We love mezcal in all its unpredictability and expression, and we're lucky enough to have a nice little range of rare and unusual right now! Who knows, maybe you'll be able to taste one or two of these at our Tequila Experience masterclass on the 26th (details at the bottom of this post) 🍸🥂

Chichicapa – One of Del Maguey’s most recognisable expressions. Bright grapefruit-y citrus in concert with burnt caramel, some smoke, and subtle mint chocolate.

Iberico – A truly unique and fascinating celebratory mezcal from Santa Catarina Minas. Clay stilled, with wild mountain apples, plums, red plantains, pineapples, almonds and Iberico ham used in the third run.

Wild Papalome – The Papalome varietal grows abundantly in Mixteca Alta, and this is a traditional expression. Earthy, leathery, dark, and powerful.

Tobala & Espadin – A rare post-distillation blend of Tobala and Espadin marques. Intense but high-noted, with minerality and herbaceousness.

Vida Clasico – The ‘classic’ for a reason. Smoke-forward but with lush oily bananas, sandalwood, and burnt sugar. Cocktails or straight up, doesn’t matter.

Wild Tepextate – Tepextate is an agave varietal that takes 18-25 years to ripen – this is a palenquero’s labour of love! Light-bodied and tropical fruit-forward, with a sprinkle of sweet spice.

Pechuga – Minero mezcal distilled for the third time with a chicken breast suspended in the still, as well as many of the same ingredients as the Iberico. Super rare and fantastically interesting.
