We are located on a main road (Brunker Road) in a huge purpose built shop to suit all your liquor requirements with undercover parking at the door, as well as a large car park also available for your convenience. Our self serve cool room allows for easy access and choice. Range –
We stock all of your regular spirits, pre-mix drinks, ciders,

as well as some you won't find in most regular bottle shops. We have a huge range of premium, organic and preservative free red, white and sparkling wines as well as many of the Hunters finest. You’ll love our range of domestic, premium and craft beers at very competitive prices. Our policy is if you cant find it here we will try our hardest to find it for you. Customer Service –
Our staff are friendly, polite and are more than happy to help you with selection advice or just to carry that case of beer to your car. If you can’t find a particular item in our store we will do our best to try and get it in for you! We also have corporate accounts and do bulk buying for partys and events. Join us next Thursday 3rd of April from 3.30pm when the legendary Chuck Hahn and son Scott will be instore tasting beers from their brewery Chuck and Son’s.

We will also be having a sausage sizzle for a gold coin donation, where all money raised will be donated to Sages Legacy.

So come down have a chat with the guys, taste some great beer and raise money for a great cause.

In February of last year, Andrew Pearman, an exceptional member of the Motus Transport team based here in Newcastle (The guys who deliver 90% most of the good Indie pack beer around the local bottleshops), tragically lost his beloved son, Sage, just before his 7th birthday in 2024.
With the support of Andrew's employer (Motus Transport), Grain Store are organizing an event to honour what would have been Sage's 8th birthday on Thursday, February 27, 2025, and to raise awareness for Autism Awareness Australia. As part of this event, they are collaborating with close brewery partners [Mountain Culture, Capital, Akasha & BentSpoke] to create a special beer that reflects Sage's passions and personality – he loved trees/nature/animals/Flowers, the bush & the beach, was a huge lover of climbing and even though he was nonverbal he loved to wrestle and rough & tumble. Sage's favourite colours were red, yellow & orange.
There will be some auction items on the night plus raffle tickets available. Mountain Culture / Capital / Akasha & Bentspoke are all brewing beers for the night & will be flowing with the proceeds of these kegs going to cause. This collective effort aims not only to celebrate Sage's life but also to establish a lasting legacy in his honour.
It would be awesome to have the Newy community get behind Andrew & his family on the night by getting into the venue on Thursday 27th Feb from 6pm.

Jenna's Beer Review Heya Everyone, I am back! This review is sure to be a cracker and taking a slight turn to mid strength beers. On my train ride back from Melbourne the other weekend, I was fortunate to be able to get my hands on Young Henrys Stayer, who would of thought a crafty beer on an XPT service I know.... right. The Young Henrys Stayer is a 3.5% Mid Lager pours golden in colour and has beautiful passionfruit and lychee aromas. The Stayer is well balanced. I must say though I love the malty sweetness that shines through! If anyone tells you, you can't have a tasty mid strength tell them their wrong. If you haven't tried it yet, it's a must! Come on in and try it for yourself!
