Unico Zelo Terra Cotta Greco- the smash-able, skin kissed, amphora blessed orange wine that we’re stoked to have on pour this weekend
Named for the colour of the dirt that it’s grown in, with fruit sourced from one of the very few active Greco dedicated vineyards in Australia- ( Ricca Terra 🙌🏻⭐️) This Campagnian variety is treated to 21 days rested on skins in amphora 🍊and delivers with phenolics, acidity and tannins all in check, check, check. Flavours are refreshing and fun- think tropical mango, papaya, toasty coconut, and apricot brioche. Smash-able. On pour all weekend 🤙

Jo Landron^ Atmosphères^ Hailing from the Pays Nantais on the Wild Western edge of the Loire Valley, comes this superbly dry, textural and mineral focussed sparkling- made with F***e Blanche, lots of time on lees & a dash of Pinot Noir. Elegant, fresh & expressive it’s a wonderful example of this style of sparkling wine and of course, a natural match for oysters, crudo and kicking off your public holiday weekend 🚀🍾

440 pts on the scrabble board- and one of the more unusual descriptors used by professional wine tasters.

A term coined by Australian researchers in 1964 to describe the ethereal and invigorating smell of summer rain..Distinctly earthy and mineral-ly, Petrichor is a combination of several fragrant chemical compounds, and while some have yet to be identified, one is 2-isopropyl-3-methoxy-pyrazine (IPMP)-Also found most commonly in Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc grapes.

And… of course.. Rainy days are great Wine bar days 😊🍷 ☔️🌈
