Icons of Chapel st Cellars…
You may have heard of icons of Chapel.. well here at Chapel st Cellars we have our own Icons. We think our patrons are pretty awesome so we would like to feature THEM and what they do and call them Icons of “Chapel st Cellars!”
Our first featured patron, and good friend, is Brendan Grey. Brendan recently set up and opened a podcast Studio called Luid Studios!
This was a huge undertaking for him from a bare warehouse to fully-functioning recording studio. Over the set-up months, we observed that any obstacle that came Brendan’s way was overcome with a positive attitude and a lot of hard work! Then, last year on his 50th birthday, Brendan opened the doors and started interviewing people and recording their stories!
Brendan, along with his trusty assistant aka his son, Maverick, is engaging as a podcast facilitator. He has a great knack for putting anyone at ease while skilfully asking questions which will illicit detailed responses and just good conversation! While Rob and I were in the hot seats of Luid Studios recently for the recording of Episode #6, we felt immediately at ease and thoroughly enjoyed our session... basically talking about ourselves, what we do and how our business came about! It was a nostalgic trip down 16 years of memory lane with snippets of wine education thrown into the conversation mix. After much initial trepidation (mostly on my part) about talking about ourselves for a couple of hours, we found the whole exercise enjoyable and effortless thanks to Brendan and Maverick’s expertise, professionalism and great sense of humour!
If you are interested in spruiking your wares, your business, a good cause, or you are just up for a fun chat, contact Brendan at Luid Studios which incidentally is an acronym for “LIVE until I die” and Brendan’s creed!
