Given the cold weather, we are hosting a whisky tasting this Friday 26/07. The aromas of aged oak, vanilla and hint of smokiness are what these whiskies bring to the table. Distilling techniques and layers of complexity of French and Australian whiskies will be showcased in our tasting!

The headliners are Michel Courveur and Bakery Hill.

What sets Michel Courveur whiskies apart is their maturation process. The whiskies are initially distilled in Scotland but then transported to Burgundy, where they are aged in a variety of rare and often unusual sherry casks.

Bakery Hill Whisky, founded in 1999, is one of Australia’s pioneering single malt distilleries. Established by David Baker, Bakery Hill has garnered a reputation for producing high-quality, handcrafted whiskies that reflect a commitment to traditional methods and a passion for innovation.

Now, after over 80 years of the Barlow family being the custodians of the Rustenberg Estate, Murray is the 3rd generation of Barlow's to continue the tradition of producing high quality wines. He has an Australian connection as well as he completed his Masters in Oenology at the University of Adelaide where he refined his craft.
