We had Marc's beautiful VF SS in with LSA running gear.

The SBE LSA features CNC heads, small camshaft and a couple of hardware upgrades.

On BP98 and 10psi we conservatively tuned it to the beat of 425rwkw and 912RWNM.

Suffering from consistent belt slip we decided to leave it where it was as ultimately the pulley setup is capable of another 4+ psi..

Stay tuned for when we try crack 500rwkw from this unit!

Couple of LS's in for tunes at Pana Performance

Starting off with Jakobs we fitted:
✅️New NGK racing plugs
✅️Fresh Martini Racing 10w60 oil and filter
✅️VCM mafless otr kit
✅️ Xforce 1 3/4 header and cat kit

We then tuned it to the beat of 257rwkw and 520rwnm picking up over 60rwkw and almost 100rwnm of torque!

We also had Michaels VZ SS in for:
✅️New NGK Racing plugs
✅️New Premier Ignition leads
✅️Pana Performance Custom Catch Can Kit
✅️Powerbond underdrive balancer

We then gave it a full custom edit wrapping up at 240rwkw with a peak increase of 21rwkw and holding instead of falling over up top.

We had the pleasure on working on John's beautiful Kanaris built big block 68 corvette!

It came to us for a full custom 3" mandrel bent 409 S/S system with growl mufflers, two resonators and an X pipe to let that 427 big block breathe!

This was a well needed update from the outdated press bent 2 1/4" flowmaster era system...

While we were there we tidied up a bit of his starter wiring as well as fit a new CVR Starter.

We had Dylan's super clean VZ Alloytec ute back in for a ported CPR6 intake manifold .

To note Dylan's VZ sports one of our alloytec Cam packages with

✅️Mace 210 cams
✅️INA timing chain kit and YSK oil pump
✅️GM lifters and Rockers
✅️Pana Performance Catch can kit

Through a modded airbox , 2.25" pacemaker headers this managed to crack just shy of 200rwkw finishing up at 196rwkw and 506rwnm picking up over 20rwkw with just manifold alone. We generally see 30+rwkw with a good intake and bigger 2.5" headers.

✅️ Fresh Set of high flow cats to replace factory ones
✅️ ECU unlock
✅️ Full custom mafless dyno tune to suit his new mafless OTR Intake.

This freakshow is the most powerful bolt on LS1 we have tuned winding up at 255rwkw and through a 4l60e as well. We might have to thank GM for the core shift in the heads on this unicorn 😉

We originally had Theo's VT SS in for a basic cam package but he elected to go with the hamburger with the lot!

✅️Starting from the bottom we have a blueprinted standard ls1 bottom end by Kanaris Engines
✅️Up top with have some banger CNC ported heads by Kyri Race Heads with pac double valve springs to suit
✅️From there we banged in a custom ground cam specced to suit heads by kyri race heads in conjunction with ourselves to suit both the heads and the customers needs, LS7 lifters, genuine buckets, crow pushrods , IWIS chain kit and mellings oil pump.
✅️We also upgraded to a crow trunion kit for the proven ls1 rockers

Besides recoing the motor we also
✅️Installed bigger injectors
✅️Installed bigger 4 into 1 X force headers and cats
✅️Installed a Dominator Torque Converters 4800 converter
✅️Upgraded his transmission and power steering coolers
✅️Freshened up his engine bay and his cooling system with all new hardware.

We then broke the engine in with numerous heat cycles and finally ran it up on the rollers to the beat of 297rwkw maxxing out the roller speed with his 3.07:1 diff gears 😅 , yes we are putting 4.11s in this

To note this has a standard ls1 intake and throttle and a 2.5" catback. We'd expect to see over 315wkw with a better intake and 3" exhaust.

We had Charlie's VE SS ute in for a full custom dyno tune and to fit his otr.

After making the maf style otr work mafless we then custom tuned it from scratch to the beat of 282rwkw and 580rwnm of torque which is great numbers for a bolt on car, being auto as well with a manual you'd see close to if not 300rwkw.

This picked up over 42 rwkw and 75rwnm of torque and we also tuned his auto for a racier feel including quicker shift times and a touch firmer shifts

Book in now for a thorough in depth full custom dyno tune to suit your vehicle! Don't risk it for the biscuit!

VF week last week at pana performance… They say when one comes in they all come in.

We had Kristians VF SV6 in for the usual cracked converter replacement at only 150k km.. we have seen them go as early as 75k km. We suggest taking a look under the car for sweating near the bellhousing area. This is an indication your car has this issue.

We also had Rabihs Fossil 320k km VF Sv6 in for initially a converter as well but due to the colour and matter in the transmission fluid we decided to go for

✅️Low Km Box
✅️Flushed Trans Lines
✅️Aftermarket Trans Cooler
✅️Trans Filter Kit
✅️New replacement Torque Converter
✅️Base Edit in the auto to suit his cammed combination

We also Had Mitch’s VF in for major works, after both the power and compression were down a good 25% especially bank to bank we decided to pull the engine and strip it knowing we’ve tackled similar issues countless times before. Unfortunately but fortunately we found bent valves , clipping marks on top of the pistons, valve springs touching the heads and for some reason aluminium dust throughout the inlet tract. Stay tuned for how to make over 300rwkw reliably.

Well that's a wrap for 2023! What a year it has been and what a way to finish it with night at calder park with a few mates/customers.

We took our RND car which we should probably name sometime soon down for a burn with full exhaust and on et street radials. Unfortunately we hadn't had our rear end setup dialled but still managed to crack an 11.8 @117.6mph .. looks like the quest for 10s on a standard motor with just camshafts has begun!

We also had Nick's Nitrous VZ make a couple of hits , first N/A with a pb of 13.7 from a previous best of 14.8 @ 95mph only change being converter and manifold .. we then attempted to give it some hits on the gas but couldn't get the bottle to the temp we wanted.. we still picked up over a second on what we'd call a 100hp shot finishing up at a 12.6 at almost 110mph! Next time out should be interesting but nonetheless very well done to Nicholas and the mighty alloytec!

We had George's VZ Calais in for one of our alloytec Cam packages featuring:

We originally had Franks FG XR6T in for some maintenance items but once we saw oil in the cooler pipes and the front of the turbo fanning things escalated quickly ...😅

We set him up with a performance package ready for summer and his budget which consisted of the following:

We had Jesse's Vz back in for a custom intercooled vortech supercharger system.

Whilst carrying out these works we:
-Upgraded his fuel system with bosch 1150cc injectors
-Walbro Drop in 460lph pump and new fuel filter
-Corrected his ventilation system with one of our custom alloytec catch can kits
-Upgraded his tired 100a alternator to a 120a unit
-Custom designed and fabricated intercooler system featuring premium turbosmart and aeroflow components
-Installed some trick boost and wideband gauges
-New plugs to suit boost and some fresh 10w60 ester martini racing oil.

Having to battle the factory ecu including retaining the factory maf sensor proved tricky but with the right concepts and innovation we managed to make it work incredibly well without a map sensor.

Already featuring camshafts, full exhaust, ported cpr6 intake, the blower kit added the final touch to make a streetable 305rwkw on 10psi and e85.

We had this beautiful VY Calais LS1 come in through Alois Garage for a full custom dyno tune.

It features a freshly rebuilt engine with ported heads and a 232 237 camshaft, full 2.5" exhaust and through a 4l60, 4500 converter and 3.9s it managed to pull an impressive 311rwkw and 792rwnm.

One of the best gen 3 setups in our opinion as a driver and for the power it puts down.

We had George's 190kw alloytec VZ Calais in for a full XForce Performance Exhaust exhaust system, VCM Performance LS OTR modified to suit the alloytec and a full custom dyno tune.

Wrapping it up at 171rwkw and 440+ rwnm of torque with just bolt ons is why we have so much faith in these engines.

He also gets to sport better throttle response, more midrange torque , a much wider power band and better fuel economy if he keeps the boot out of it!

We had Dylan's VN 6L in for a full custom dyno tune with a holley terminator X ecu

To start off with the car had a few teething problems including a combination of fouled plugs, questionable leads/coils so we replaced those. Once we were able to start tuning we reached a point at 6200rpmish where crank signal was lost. This issue was found to be a new genuine crank sensor causing issues!

Once sorted it started singing upto 7500rpm..

Finishing up, the built engine for boost by Kyri Race Heads achieved 341.8rwkw and over 820rwnm of torque.

We had Geoff's VE SV6 originally in to rectify some issues when he fitted his 210 mace cams.

From there we:

✅️Installed missing cam seals
✅️Fitted a new INA chain and gear kit
✅️Installed Full X Force headers, cats and catback system
✅️Pana Performance Custom Catch Can Kit

We then gave it a full custom tune to suit his new setup including his OTR intake to the beat of 186rwkw and climbing through the standard intake manifold.

We picked up over 40rwkw and 50rwnm from tuning alone which is why we stress the importance of tuning when changing anything that affects the induction or exhaust system.

We had George's VZ Adventra in for some diagnosis work and for some 210 Mace Engineering Group Camshafts.

Having already some supporting modifications including a full exhaust, headwork, valvesprings and a growler intake it was impressive to see how a good set of camshafts and a few tweaks transformed this car and brought it to life.

Whilst in our hands we recommended and completed the following modifications and upgrades:

✅️ New INA chain Kit with gears
✅️ New YSK oil pump (tried and proven to boost oil flow and pressure)
✅️ Mace 210 @0.050 camshafts
✅️ Porting his CPR6 and lower manifold with blended in 12mm spacers by Kyri Race Heads
✅️Thermo Fan Controller
✅️ Pana Performance Catch Can Kit
✅️ Future proofed his fuel system with bigger injectors and a new drop in cradle with a 460LPH pump.
✅️ New higher torque starter and higher CCA battery for faster cranking.
✅️ Full custom tune with wideband control awaiting 4wd dyno for numbers.
