6 pack holder call out!
Does anyone have a stash at home that’s been building up? This is your sign to release them back into the wild.
We always appreciate you guys bring back your holders for reuse here but we are running low on 6’s in particular.
Most of the 4 pack holders head off to smaller breweries for second use, but the the 6’s are mostly used in the store for creating your weird and wonderful mixed 6 packs.
Recycling is cool 😎 thanks legends!

Whistling Eagle 2021 ‘Bomber’ has landed, and just in time for this perfectly grey spring day.
This years effort is a blend of Shiraz, Cabernet,Sangiovese, Malbec and Grenache from Heathcote and it is rich, punchy and beautifully balanced. Big dark berry flavors and a dry peppery finish.
So bloody delicious.

We’ve been asked a few times recently what non alcoholic wines we have, and it’s nice to able to options - for everyone.
NON are a Melbourne based non-alcoholic producer. They are making some wildly interesting, vegan, gluten free, halal and 0.0% ABV wine alternatives.

Lemon marmalade & hibiscus

Griffffter is backkkk!
At long last. There was a bit of wait there as Grifter tried to keep up with demand, putting the breaks on interstate to make sure they had enough to keep their home city Sydney’s glasses full.
But they are back, and we’re jazzed!
We chucked another pack together for anyone wanting to work through and see what these guys are about. As always, with a bit of a discount to reward adventurers!
It’s a pretty good adventure if you ask us…

Loookie what we have!
Some new and really interesting wines from .wine - we loved the whole MDI range, so here they all are.
MDI wines are made by Kevin McCarthy, husband of the famous Kathleen Quealy. MDI stands for Murray Darling Italy, all of the grapes have deep Italian roots and are sourced from vineyards near Mildura.
I’d wager Ryan has a cramp in his hand after the extensive tasting notes he wrote today - they are up on the website now if you’re curious to know more. We’ve also put together a discounted pack for anyone wanting to work through them.

The second iteration of hawkers hopped gin and matching Hazy IPA has arrived.
The pair shares a blend of hops put together by who work to promote women and diversity in the brewing industry.
We’ve already popped them both up on the website and bundled them into a pack together if you want to get your hands on both - we’ve only got tiny amounts though so jump on it!

Sobremesa have been been absolutely smashing it in the saison/farmhouse space so we’re really excited to see their first can release.

Ten new brews from in!
We’re about halfway through tasting them ourselves and absolutely loving what we’ve tried so far.
They are all up online and we are adding tasting notes as we get through them. Jump online and have a read through or just dive in and find out for yourself.

New in from down mornington peninsula way. A lotta good gin being made down there and this is no exception to that.
These guys are making their own base spirit from locally sourced wine then putting flavor spins based on their favorite travel spots, their hometown and collaborations with local coffee producers.
The result is beautifully textured, creamy spirits with delicate but well balanced flavors.
The excess fruits from the gins go into making the peninsula mixing syrups, including a tonic syrup, made to pair with the gins, mix into cocktails or just to add straight into soda. They are so fresh and juicy and such a very smart use their excess fruit.
Gins and coffee vodka open for tasting in the shop if you’re curious!

This stuff is bloody glorious. I honestly dream about it sometimes.
Like the vast majority of our spirits, we have a bottle open for tasting. Please always ask us for a taste if you’re in and curious about something, we believe all our booze is good booze, but we want you to be drinking the best booze for you!

Tassie legends are back in 🙌🏻
Good booze, gypsy brewed by a couple of mates while they save for a brewery of their own, occasionally making its way up to the mainland.
While Portland pale and Pub stout may be familiar to some of you from our last Spotty Dog shipment, TIPA Roads will for spark memories for others from the 2020 Carwyn Canvent. If you didn’t manage to catch it then or if you did and want a refresher, come on down or jump online!
