Max Petronio immersed himself in the traditional wine making techniques of old world wine makers from very early on in his wine making career. Driven by the passion he held for these traditions and the wine produced, he soon found himself on the en-devour to create new world wines from these very same techniques.

Letting 'mother nature' take control of a large portion of the wine making process, and leaving it as untouched as possible as nature intended was a huge part of his philosophy. This means only the highest quality fruit, handpicked in small quantities, is sourced and processed from vineyards located all around the Yarra Valley to maintain the impeccable standards of Petronio Wines and the quality that customers have come to enjoy with every glass.
