To all our past and present customers, it is with a heavy heart that we are announcing the closure of Arkwright Estate. We would like to thank you for the support and custom over the years.
Times are tough and the message is, if you can support small business please do so. The faces behind small business are mums and dads, nans and pops, people just giving it their all. Please ensure that you pay them promptly as it hits the hip pocket hard, especially at the moment.
We have sold our stock and would like it if you can to raise a glass to Brian the Olive Man to wish him well on his retirement!
We will be finalising accounts and then that’s it from us.

Arkwright olives produced locally in the McLaren Vale district, olivemite is versatile in so many ways. Especially nice on crusty sourdough bread or a simple pasta with Xtra virgin olive oil and parmesan cheese.

Tucked away on the Eden Valley Road just outside Mount Pleasant in the beautiful Adelaide Hills lies a stunning little location with a tag line of "a little closer to heaven". Never a truer word was spoken, and you can experience it for yourself by planning a little visit to Elysian Springs! Cellar door manager Nick will welcome you with open arms and many a tale of their history and of their stunning wines. And as of last weekend, they are not only serving our delicious olives in the cellar door, they are also spreading our best loved olivemite across the bases of their delectable wood oven pizzas! Folks, you simply MUST visit this amazing place to experience it for yourself 🙂

The 2022 Australian International Olive Awards Gala Presentation Dinner took place in Devonport Tasmania on Friday 16 October, and we are so excited to let you know that we were awarded our third consecutive gold medal for our best loved kalamata olives! Not only that, we are thrilled to also have been awarded the title of Best Table Olive of Show - Commercial Volume! We owe so much to the amazing hard work of our beloved master pickler Brian, as well as to you our loyal and trusted customers and friends. We couldn't have achieved this recognition without you - thank you so much 😀
