We are seeking a sales professional for 8 hrs pw. A flexible role, with hours split across two days if they wish and the ability to work from home. We are happy to work with someone around their lifestyle, commitments, and family - it's only an 8 hr pw role after all.

The role involves sales visits to venues; phone calls, and emails.
No deliveries are required, and there are no nighttime events.
Based in Hobart.

Obviously, a great knowledge of spirits & hospitality, Tasmania, sales and communication skills, and a personality are a must.

Luka, recently celebrating being 6 months old, is keeping a watchful eye over some of our barrels.

This particular one, a 200L ex-Bourbon cask from Buffalo Trace Distillery currently housing Whisky.

We have a new end here, while the other end is the original from Buffalo Trace, which was so thick with the beautiful bourbon soaked into it.

The weathered looking barrel next to it ..... that's a story for another day. 🥃

What a brilliant experience this has been collaborating with Squizzy Taylor. Aussie Lobster Man 🦞 🦀

This Rum barrel travelled aboard his Bold Contender, taking in the sea air and salty ocean, rocking and rolling with the waves.

We've now decanted the Rum barrel, Squizzy kindly signed all labels and bottles heading out to their lucky customers. And, we're fully Sold Out !!!!

A Golden Rum, with incredible colour, clarity with a soft sweet touch, subtle notes of caramel and vanilla at 40% ABV - and dare we say a little saltiness 😉

But stay tuned. We've already got another collaboration we're working with Squizzy on 💥

Tasmania's annual Gin-uary festival is set to return to PW1 next weekend, showcasing the state's thriving spirits industry.

Organisers this year's event set to have the widest range yet, expanding beyond just gin.

Attendees will have the chance to meet distillers and taste their creations across three four-hour sessions, with tickets starting at $75.

We've had a lot of people ask for it, so here it is.

For a very limited time, and with limited numbers, we have in 200ml bottles an 8-year old French Oak ex-Sherry cask single malt single cask whisky at only $59.

Filtered from cask strength to 45% using Tasmanian rain-water, the purest rain-water in the world in an environment of the freshest air.

A sweet nose, with an aroma of fudge and raisins.

With a full-bodied taste, with notes of dried fruits you'd find in a fruit cake, a touch of nuttiness with a hint of vanilla.

With a finish of toffee, nuts and dates.

You won't find too many Tasmanian single malt single cask whiskies in 200ml bottles, let alone at 8-years old. But being a single cask specialist, we love to be a little different.
