Wawa everyone 👋🏼

Soooooo.... slight change in plans with the colouring books/pads. They are now colouring "packs" only for this lot. It's all the pages from front cover to back cover and all the pages in-between just they aren't put together as a book or pad they are all loose individual pages, all in their correct order and packaged in clear packaging.

I thought everything was all good and ready to go but I have some problems with the place I had them printed with, and because of how my books are put together and made, being all pages are individual and then I glue them along one side like you do with a note pad and then the cloth tape over that once the glue is dried, I can't do that with these as they haven't printed them on A4. As a result the pages are all inconsistent in size. I don't feel comfortable with making them up like I was planing too and then sell them as they wouldnt look very good at all.

They are all inconsistent in sizes, so much so that I actually can't do anything about it to try and fix their mistake. I have attached a photo to show what I mean. I was extremely frustrated and disappointed to of saved up and spent so much money on getting them printed and trying to get them out to you and then to of found that out it kinda crushed me to be completely honest. So I have taken the last couple days to recoup and try to work out what I was going to do next so I'm not letting everyone down yet again 😮‍💨 sooo, I have decided to sell them as colouring packs because there is nothing wrong with the printing it's great printing quality and everything so I will still be selling them. Just as packs of the pages for a cheaper price. I am just hoping to at least make my money back from getting them printed and then I am looking at actual book printing places and get them yo make them for me untill I can get enough money saved up to get myself a better printer and everything to still hand make some in the future as well 😊

I do appolagise again for the stuff around yet again, this one was out of my control and nothing can be done to fix it, just learn from it and keep moving forward! 😊🫂🩷✨️

I am working on my website as we speak, (also having problems with that 😅🤦🏽‍♀️) and so as soon as the website is up and running I will let you know.

I have collabed with one of the best friends who is now following their passion of music and film, I sent him the videos and pics and said “do your thing” and this is what he created for me! I LOVE it!

📕📙📗📘🖍Colouring book updates:

🖍✨️Custom order for a local lady and friend of mine who also works in one of the local schools and she has order these slightly modified version of my colouring books for the kids that she works with!!! These kids are super spoilt and super lucky to have someone like her working with them!

Imagine being a young primary school kid and getting a custom/handmade colouring book for Christmas from your teacher! 👌🏼🤯🥰✨️ I know I deffinatly would of LOVED that! (Still would 😋) 🖍✨️

Next week I will be working on the colouring books for you all to purchase!
I am going to release a batch of 25 before Christmas and then the official release for them will be Jan 25th at 8pm! I chose that dare as it gives me time to complete heaps of them and totally not because it's also my 30th bday that day! 😜 hehe. So make sure you mark the day in your calendar, because I have a feeling from the amount of people asking for them that they won't last long! 😋

Aanndd she is done!! Finnished last night! 👌🏼✨️ I'm super proud of this one! 💜💛🖤🩶👩🏽‍🎨🖌⬛🟡🟥

Title: YIIRO (joy or a joyfull place)

Story: Cafe 41 has always felt like a joyfull place with the atmosphere and the staff that work there being so friendly especially. And it always brings me joy whenever I go there for lunch out with friendly or family or just to go get a coffee ☕️ and sit out the back where the sparrows are super friendly and love coming to raid your food if left un attended for too long haha 😋 that's why I have added the Lil bird foot prints in yellow. The purple circles with wavy lines going between them is representative of people travelling from all over to come and meet at Cafe 41, I chose the colour purple because I wanted to bring in the colour of their chairs in the courtyard which are a lovely purple 💜 the lines in the spaces between are representative of the land 😊

Also super proud of myself that even with some small setbacks along the way, I still pushed through and did both sides!

It has been such an AMAZING experience, being able to do to. I learned more skills along the way. Also met some lovely people and many, many, many compliments and little chats with people. A couple of the most common comments that were made were:
"that looks amazing doesn't it! It has really brightened the space up!" "Soooo much better now with the art on the wall. It's wasn't the best to look at, but now it's beautiful to look at"
Even had quite a number of people saying that I should paint all tge other walls as well, especially the brick wall haha. So I'm guessing that people enjoy the art work then which is always a bonus haha 😋🫶🏽

It was also great to see so much interaction with the art and also with asking me questions about its story, children wanting to interact and touch it and were amazed by it and loved watching me do my thing 😋 one of the days I even had a Lil helper (well I gave her a paint brush and we "painted" the floor a Lil together with water because she wanted to paint so bad and wanted to help but couldn't because she was in her good clothes. She loved that though so much so that she didn't want to leave when it was time for her to go ✨️ was so beautiful ✨️

Can't wait to start the next one! 👌🏼✨️

At this rate with deliveries, especially coming up to Christmas, unfortunately I don't think that they will be ready to be released untill January! 😮‍💨 I will still continue to keep you all updated 👌🏼✨️

Today I visited the Uniting Yea Children's Centre to drop of the paintings to their new home! ✨️ It was such a beautiful experience to see how happy they were with them and how much they loved them! One of the lovely ladies even cried she was so overwhelmed by them them! They finally came!! And honestly I am soo in love with them! They are so stretchy and comfortable and they feel so soft and a nice matte look instead do a shiny kinda look them which I love while the colours are still vibrant! Deffinatly feel confident in adding them to my shop and selling them to you mob! I can't wait to design and get more! For now these will be the only design available 😊 i will be adding them to my website in the next couple of days 🥰

So i get the question alot "can i wash the shoes after they have been painted?" The answer is yes! The paint is a good quality shoe paint that is made for shoes and wear and i also put a couple layers of the top coat as well fro extra protection. To wash our shoes i dont have any proper of fansy shoe cleaners or brushes i just use morning fresh dishwashing liquid and an old tooth brush and works well and as you can see i am not being gentle and the paint is still fine 😊 so the answer is yes! They can be washed and can get wet or dirty and be cleaned 😊 these are a $3.50 pair of kmart kids shoes and my son has worn them quiet alot and even to school and as you can see has gotten them muddy and dirty and jumped in puddles ect and they are fine 😊 just like any shoes some lighter colours may stain depending on the shoes and just like normal shoes with wear and tear as the shoe gets worn alot the design may get worn in some areas. It just depends on how you wear them and how rough you are on them 😊 i hope this helps
