A young Preston man in his 20s has come forward as the second division one winner in last night’s $100 million Powerball draw, while a Rockhampton couple has already started celebrating their share of the win.

A Hobart resident is $1.6 million richer after winning division one in the weekend's TattsLotto draw, but they may not know it yet.

The Lott say they have been unsuccessfully trying to contact the winner since Saturday's draw.

The winning $1,642,087.17 ticket was purchased at Cat & Fiddle Lotto in the Cat & Fiddle Arcade.

The store say they've been celebrating by decorating the shop and telling all their customers about the win.

Thousands of Tasmanians have flocked to the streets of Hobart for the annual Christmas Pageant today.

A crowd of around 35,000 lined the parade route to watch the procession of 49 floats and over 1,000 participants.

Among the winners were Scouts Tasmania, which took home the award for Best Children's Entry. The Best Band prize went to the Derwent Scottish Pipe Band.
