Had a spectacular walk on kunanyi/Mt Wellington today after doing some deliveries and we were thrilled to spot our first lyrebird in the wild. She followed us curiously for a few minutes, poking her head from behind a tree to keep an eye on us.

This interesting ABC article says they were introduced in the 1930s and are now a bit of a problem.

Now this is how to see in a New Year! 2014 Reveur Pinot Noir was velvety smooth, rich red fruits, a hint of earthiness and a perfect match for the charcoal grilled lamb, courgettes from the garden, homemade labneh, toasted pine nuts and sweet potato fries.
I think ten years is often a really beautiful spot for Nick’s wines and this was just delightful.

We know it’s been a long time between drinks for this one — the 2022 sold out before we could even put it online.

The 2023 Überblanc is definitely worth the wait.

Expect the usual Über characteristics — juicy acid, fresh minerality and complexity to round out the delicious citrus flavour profile.

A blend of 70/30 Tamar/Coal River.
