It's great to have back in store! Doug's 'Le Jardin' Rouge is Pyrenees Grenache with a splash of his home block Syrah (Yarra Valley). It's all high toned perfume, juicy core of fruit with savoury edges and refreshing acidity. Very much à la bistro red and bloody delicious to boot!

What’s everyone drinking this Christmas? Chuga is reaching for the Single Vineyard Beechworth Chardonnay from Smiths Vineyard, with its complexity, power, structure, and restraint. Another favourite is the Sicilian Etna Rosso, bursting with juicy red cherry and blood orange, framed by earthy herbs and crushed rock. Not long to go now, time to get excited (and thirsty)!

What’s everyone drinking this Christmas? Andy’s picked out a couple of gems!

We’ve always been huge admirers of Eastern Peake wines, and the '22 Coghills Creek Pinot Noir is a fantastic introduction to the depth and structure their Pinots offer.

Next is local talent Ben Mullen’s Single Vineyard Portarlington Chardonnay, with vibrant citrus and stone fruits, maritime salinity, beautiful texture, and great energy. Both wines are perfect additions to the Christmas table!

It’s always a pleasure selling these wines each year, and just in time for Christmas! This year’s lineup includes the much-anticipated release of the 2024 Strata Riesling, with incredible perfume, chalky texture, and mouthwatering acidity. Also in the mix are the ever-delicious, textured, and vibrant Sem/Sav, and the Vineyard Series Rosé, featuring components of Gris and barrel-fermented Semillon. Look no further for festive drinking!

We’re thrilled to have maiden premium sparkling release from the Mornington Peninsula in store! Matt Lugg has been a long-time friend of Union Cellars, even making a few guest appearances behind the bar in our early days. He has since built a flourishing career as a winemaker and viticulturist in Australia and abroad, now heading up the talented team at Portsea Estate. This marks the debut release of his micro sparkling label, and we’re honoured to showcase his Vintage Blanc de Blancs from Red Hill in store. Congrats Luggy 👏👏🍾🍾

We are thrilled and honoured to host this special masterclass with our good friend Sierra Reed of , celebrating the release of her first Home Block Riesling from her Spring Creek Vineyard in Torquay.

This masterclass will take us on a deep dive through her exceptional Riesling lineup, spanning from her maiden Torquay release, to the granitic soils of Mount Alexander in Central Victoria to the Waitaki Valley region in New Zealand's South Island.

With extensive vintage experience in Germany, the birthplace of Riesling, at some of its most revered estates, Sierra will also share wines that have shaped her career. This is a night not to be missed!
