Scots use "whisky," Irish use "whiskey" with an 'e', reflecting Gaelic translations. The 'e' is also seen in American whiskey, brought by Irish immigrants in the 1700s.

Australia's ties to Scotland led to adopting "whisky." 20 20 Distillery omits the 'e' to align with this tradition.

We source all our water from Cooroy Mountain Spring Water in the Noosa Hinterland.

This water is delivered to us and stored in two massive 23,000L tanks beneath our distillery floor.

This careful storage guarantees that we exclusively use the finest natural spring water, completely free of chlorine and fluoride.

✔️ It's not changed genetically (GM).
✔️ It grows in good conditions, not dry places.
✔️ It fights pests without many pesticides.
✔️ It has no glycosidic nitrile or cyanide.

We use Laureate barley, approved by the Institute of Brewing & Distilling. It's from Gladfield Malt, a family growing barley for generations in New Zealand.
