This last week the great John Brown passed on to the other side.
Without John & Robyn Brown there would be no Candamber Liquor.
Their entrepreneurial spirit and zest for life spawned many business ventures including liquor retail, fireworks, gold mining and gems.
It was 1976 when the very first Candamber opened for business in Belconnen. My store at Weston opened in 1980 and we're still here today.
It's significant to note that if not for the enterprise and courage of this dynamic duo I would not have ever had the privilege of doing what I do today.
Robyn & John Brown changed my life and gave me an opportunity I never imagined would ever come my way.
Someday i''ll bore you with the full story but let's just say the whole thing was highly unlikely and as it turned out this has been the perfect fit for me👌
You don't get many John Browns in your life, and I fully appreciate my time with him and as a result I don't see the world quite like I did before.
So rest in peace John, thank you for taking the chances and thinking differently, you're one of a kind 💌
