Ocean Reach’s 7th birthday beer. Oat Cream IPA coming in at 7% ABV.
This beer has a lot going on, it’s has a light fruity aroma, a tropical / citrus flavour profile with a decent bitterness. The bitterness really cut though the full mouthfeel of this beer leaving you wanting more. Picked up from

Morning star imperial vanilla stout. This one is a collaboration between & and it’s fantastic! It’s so well balanced with the sweetness of vanilla coming though strongly you wouldn’t guess it’s 9.6% ABV. Definitely worth a try on a cold Canberra afternoon

Kenneth the son of Zenith from Hargreaves Hill brewery. This is a big bold beer definitely for sipping and was a perfect last beer for the night. It’s an American style imperial IPA with modern hop flavours of tropical fruits rather then the old school piney cascade imperial’s of the past. Would highly recommend trying this one. Picked up at

The perfect beer for a rainy Canberra Saturday afternoon. At 7.2% in a 440ml can it certainly warms you up. Massive amounts of chocolate dominate this beer without being to sweet with a nice nutty finish to it. Great beer!

This is without doubt one of the best stouts I’ve had. I only bought one can from page bottler as sometimes I find stouts infused with spirits slightly too intense but this is perfectly balanced for my liking. I’ve been told by the guys at Bentspoke it’s super limited so you better hit your local Canberra region bottleshops soon if you’re after a can.

It’s the perfect afternoon for a nice big IPA taking in the mountain views. This beer has the aroma and flavour on a big bowl of summer fruit salad, a couple more sips and it develops citrus notes and a firm almost cascade hop bitterness to finish.

Classic one tonight, Coopers Original Pale Ale but in the big 440ml can. It’s 100% Aussie owned since 1862 and uses 100% Australian grown ingredients. Such a great beer, it’s malty but with a firm bitterness and the distinctive taste of Coopers yeast. I think this was my first ever non commercial beer.

Fabulous beer for a hot Canberra afternoon! Hop Nation brewery of Melbourne Experiment 102 NZ IPA coming in at 6.5%. Sweet fruit aroma with a soft almost pillowy mouthfeel with a citrus slightly bitter finish.
