The Makers Gallery Burnie delivers the best of locally handmade items ideal for Christmas gift giving. These beautiful pieces of Tasmanian nature electro-formed into jewellery have proven very popular. They include tiny abalone shells from Stanley and myrtle, man fern, sassafras, blue gum and gingko gathered from the north west coast of Tasmania. We are happy to gift wrap or you could buy a gift certificate so your "someone special" can choose their own.

This was a bit tricky to photograph but I wanted people to see it. For the right person, this will make the perfect gift. A fire starter flint kit, it will work in both wet and dry conditions and last for over 10,000 strikes. A very exciting new product range at The Makers Gallery , Burnie. 'Electro-formed Nature' create beautiful jewellery items from pieces of locally found nature. Myrtle pendant. Ginko earrings, Sassafras earrings are just a small sample of the 'goodies' on offer. Locally made and very reasonably priced. These will make very special Christmas gifts for a special someone.

I have the paints out today and tomorrow and am painting in the front window of The Makers Gallery (Plaza Arcade Burnie). Since the recent move to a bigger space it's the first opportunity to give the brushes and paints a workout. Come by and say "Hi!" and see what's taking shape.

The Makers Gallery Burnie is now in a bigger and brighter space and I even have room to set up an easel or two to work on more things. Now Shop 8 (not 7) in the Plaza Arcade Burnie. I can now display over 40 of my jigsaw puzzles and nearly 50 magnet designs, all featuring images of Tasmanian places and animals. Also "BURNIE' t shirts, postcards and prints etc. Come by a nd see what's new.
