My name is Amber and it is a joy and a privilege to host this group and see you all sharing and helping one another. You are all such good humans here.

I love that we all practice the spirit of Japanese customer service - Omotenashi! it's about going above and beyond to please and serve, ultimately 'treating everyone as an esteemed guest'. This is the core principle here. You are welcome to ask questions so we can all help one another. I learn new things everyday! So many of you have amazing ideas and skill in finding excellent, fun attractions for kids and families. Thank you for sharing!

So excited! In November I’m going to launch my resume writing course. Both on zoom and in person in Currumbin. (I’m going to run this weekly as it’s a maximum of 10 people per group. One week in person - venue to be confirmed - and the alternate week on zoom).

It’s one jam-packed day with me where I teach you to write the most compelling resume if your life. I can’t do everyone’s resume personally - it’s a big job ( just spent 2.5 hours on a discovery call with a client tonight as per usual gathering their stories -thats before I even start writing the thing) but I can teach you all the tricks! Your resume IS the only document you have that can literally change your life overnight. I teach you how to approach it with the love, care and reverence it deserves.

The course teaches you how to beat the applicant tracking system to get it where it needs to go AND to write your stories in such a way that hiring managers can’t wait to pick up the phone and call you in for an interview.

My system teaches you how to get the foundation right so that after the initial time input, the process of applying for jobs is streamlined and super easy and quick!

I spend time every year writing goals and action lists etc. And revisiting and updating them as I cross things off but this year I’m mapping my weeks.

Mapping time from work for people. Mapping time To make phone calls to friends far away, mapping time for weekly dinner dates with my boys, mapping time to take Jack to his rugby training and games, mapping time for my mastermind group (first one last night! I love these go-getting girls!) and mapping lots of time for movement and meditation.

Mapping is my essential task each week, as how you live your days is how you live your life!

I don’t want to waste a minute on anything that doesn’t feed my soul ! ❤️❤️❤️

I moved from Bruns back home to the Goldie exactly one year ago today with the help of my friend Ste. What a year! The best year of my life in fact.

Being home and in THIS unit, just metres from my fave dance beach is the best thing that’s ever happened to me. And I’m Lucky enough to get to stay here another whole year! If I never had to leave home, I wouldn’t! ❤️❤️❤️

The year Included a week in Tokyo with my best girls, a glorious life-changing week at my meditation retreat, lots of love, kisses and bear hugs, fun adventures I’ll never forget at ikea and mid century stores and at the QT hotel and in Brisbane, and lots of time with my three kids. seeing them all getting on and cherishing each others friendship has been pure joy.

And writing. I’ve been writing SIX books. I’ve never written so much in my life. And the framework is solid for this one extraordinary life book series and I have my signature course and two workshops to introduce to the world in 2024! I am so excited!!!

It’s come with challenges too. Big heartbreak. Difficulties with my teen. And the complete demolition of my blog income after the google update in sept.

But life is good. 2024 is my year!
