CHARITY PARTNER FOR RESCHMAS

It is my great pleasure to announce that for Reschmas this year we will be raising money for a fantastic Australian charity called Mentoring Men. We've supported this charity in the past because their cause is really close to our heart. Check out there website for more information if you're interested.

DONATIONS WILL BE MATCHED DOLLAR FOR DOLLAR!

This year, we've secured some additional funds from a mystery supporter (who will be revealed at Reschmas). That supporter has pledged to match dollar for dollar any donations made to Mentoring Men up to the value of $3,000.

So... it goes without saying that our fundraising target for Reschmas this year is $6,000 ($3,000 doubled) and we are very confident about achieving that goal, but we can only do that with all members support. At our upcoming event we will be selling Bratwurst and Sauerkraut Rolls, Raffle Tickets, and Limited Edition Beer Steins... However, if you're unable to make it to Reschmas in person and would like to contribute, Mentoring Men have set up a fundraising page. Just click on the link below and every dollar you donate is 100% tax deductible, plus it will effectively be doubled by our mystery benefactor.

Reschmas 2024: Announcement #2
In keeping with the German theme we'll be employing for Reschmas this year, we felt that it would be a shame if we didn't have our own branded beer steins to clink, while singing along with and . Details will be announced closer to the day, but the initiative will be our major fundraiser on the day...
The Steins are 520ml in volume and will feature BOTH the Resch House and RAS logos....

NEW PREFERRED VENUE: GRAND HOTEL, BEGA
I have incredible news to share this morning comrades. From today onwards Rebecca and the team at Grand Hotel, Bega will be giving us 10% off schooners when we flash our RAS badges.

RESCHMAS 2024 - ANNOUNCEMENT #1

Today we've got incredible news to share. We have just locked in two HUGE drawcards for this year's Reschmas event:

(1) First, and most importantly, Mimmo Lubrano has agreed to lead our singalong on the day. Expect such classics as "Reschs Pilsener", "Bring Back DA" and "Reschless"... If he's inspired to do so on the day he may even share a sermon.

(2) Second, we've locked in Sydney's premier Oompa Band for a 1 hour set, from 12:30pm onwards. These guys attended an event back in 2022 and are seriously incredible. Imagine all of your rock favourites, played by an Oompah Band. I remember Livin' on a Prayer being incredible last time.

NEW PREFERRED VENUE: Camden RSL
It is my great pleasure to announce that the Camden RSL Club has now come onboard as a preferred venue and is offering our members middies, schooners, and pints at member prices!
I often find that big RSL clubs can take some time to train up staff and get everything set-up on their Point Of Sale equipment. So be patient in the early days of this one please :)

NEW PREFERRED VENUE: ABERMAIN HOTEL

It is my great pleasure to announce that from this day forth, the will be offering $6 schooners upon presentation of an RAS membership badge.

The Hunter Valley is turning into a real RAS stronghold of late and no doubt there will be plenty of members looking to plan a trip there soon. Let's all get behind this historic venue.

NEW PREFERRED VENUES!
It is our great pleasure to announce today, TWO fantastic new venues have come onboard as part of our preferred venue scheme:
(1) Goulburn Railway Bowling Club have committed to provide $6 schooners of Reschs whenever our members flash their RAS badge from now on.
(2) Moby Dicks Tavern have committed to provide your first schooner of Reschs for $5 and have also arranged a $15 pizza deal upon presentation of our membership badge.
Let us all get behind these two fantastic venues!

NEW PREFERRED VENUE: CLUB URUNGA
Good news members. The next time any of us visit Club Urunga and we flash our badge we will receive schooners of Reschs for $6.50 and/or a 6-pack of silver bullets for $20. Let's all visit these guys as soon as possible. They don't seem to have any good photos of their venue online, so lets take some ourselves and give them some publicity.

Our records from that period are really difficult to manually search, so I'm hopeful that someone knows who member #393 is.... ?

Tonight I’m in the nations capital for one night only and thought I’d check out the for dinner and a refreschment. It didn’t disappoint and a perfect pour from the very friendly bar staff. Member #2 reporting for duty in allied territory.
