2016 has been an adventure and the adventure has led us here.....the kids and I have put our minds and hands together and this is what happened. We made a few sparkly sticks and hanging lights and friends asked if they could buy them. The hanging light sheds a beautiful magical light over the ceiling and walls and the sticks set a beautiful calm tone to the room or hanging over a bed. We can make to order, love working with the kids on this. Each one is different to the next so no two will look the same ๐

So after the success with the sweet potato chips on the flat bed toaster(5 mins) I decided to try the precut carrots sticks from Just Veg. 6 mins and we had carrot chips, perfect for a busy night of sports and swimming. Let me know if you give it a try ๐

"I was 13-years-old, trying to teach my 6-year-old sister how to dive into a swimming pool from the side of the pool. It was taking quite a while as my sister was really nervous about it. We were at a big, public pool, and nearby there was a woman, about 75-years old, slowly swimming laps. Occasionally she would stop and watch us. Finally she swam over to us just when I was really putting the pressure on, trying to get my sister to try the dive, and my sister was shouting, 'but I'm afraid!! I'm so afraid!!' The old woman looked at my sister, raised her fist defiantly in the air and said, 'So be afraid! And then do it anyway!'

You know those days when those delightfuls of ours can mess up your plans to do a 15 min workout, here's a job for them, let them become your weight:)
Superbars teaching dexterity.... Ahhh the milestones are sweet:):):) On one had this will mean she's taken a small job upon herself but also means I now have how to look for an even higher shelf to keep them on:):):)
Don't lose hope, they will do it in their own time. This little man has low muscle tone, proprioception and vestibular challenges and today he got on his little sisters bike and he rode it for the first time ever:) There has been a lot of physical therapy here engaging his trunk, lots of crawling patterns, hula hooping and lots of brain gym exercises and movements, so so so worth it to see his face and hear his surprise when it all came together. Xx kicking goals mate. ###
