IGA Christmas Recipe - Cranberry & Brie Wreath
Level up your entertaining game with our gooey and golden Cranberry & Brie Wreath 😍 With only a few ingredients, this festive centrepiece will set to impress while keeping within your budget! 🎄
Serves 4-6
Prep time 10 mins
½ cup whole cranberry sauce
1.5 tbsp Community co. red wine vinegar
1 small red onion, sliced
1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
125g Community co. double brie, cubed
Rosemary sprigs
1 egg, beaten
1. In a saucepan, mix cranberry sauce, vinegar, red onion, and ¼ cup water. Season and cook until onions are tender, and sauce slightly reduces. Set aside to cool.
2. Preheat oven to 180C
3. Lay the pastry on a tray lined with baking paper. Cut the pastry into a large circle then mark an inner circle with a smaller plate. Make 4 asterisk-like cuts in the inner circle.
4. Spread cranberry onion jam on the outer circle, leaving a 1-2cm border. Top with brie slices and rosemary.
5. Fold one point of the centre star over the filling as well as bringing the outer edge of pastry inwards. Press the two together and continue until you have a wreath.
6. Brush with egg, bake at 180C for 15-20 mins until puffed and golden brown. Enjoy!
