Our selection of local wines takes up a whole wall in our store - it’s such a huge part of our story and we love that we’ll be able to share more with our upcoming masterclasses.

Each month we plan to share a distillery and a winery back to back, so you can meet the maker, taste their offerings and also meet like minded locals.

is one of the best in the business too (obviously, we’re sticklers for quality). They are multi award winning distillers, with JimmyRum being the first dedicated craft rum distillery in Victoria.

The team are passionate about their craft, regularly holding classes to encourage people to learn more about their drinks - we hope to get them in store later this year to share that passion.

Struggling to find ‘your drink’? Come in store and let us help you.

Jess, our store manager, was hand picked because of her experience in the industry. She was previously a distiller, and has in-depth knowledge of many of the brands we stock (and the ones she doesn’t know yet - she’s working her way through tasting notes and samples - she’s committed!).

So don’t be fooled into thinking that Alcohol by Victoria is just another store with lots of drinks, we’re so much more than that in so many ways.

This year we’re planning on hosting regular tasting nights too - shining a light on distilleries and wine growers that we stock - stay tuned for more information very soon!

It was great to stop in and see Dan who owns Alcohol By Victoria with Andrew Lethlean for Bendigo. The local boutique bottle shop stocks only Victorian made alcohol.

While the Allan Labor Government talks about how Victoria is open for businesses, the reality is very different as Dan had been stuck waiting over 5 months for his liquor licence to be approved. After getting in contact with my office, I was able to write to the minister and get some action enabling Dan to open prior to Christmas.
