On Tuesday the 14th of May (sooner than you think!!) we’re looking at the amazing Pācina wines from Italy’s Chianti. These wines are some of the most popular in the shop and we’re super excited to be able to learn more about them and where they come from, in the usual DRNKS way. The night is hosted by Mattia from Vino Mito, Joel and Pierre. Lucky for us, Mattia will also be using his Paski derived skills on the pots and pans, with some handmade pasta and sides.
Tickets are $50 and include food and analysis of 6 wines.

On Friday the 19th of January we’ve got:

Mattia Dicati ( , ) pouring his favourite wines from all around Italy.

Daniele Paoletti (Vacanza, Cherry Moon, Bella Bruta) making his amazing pizza pies.

The ticket is $20 and includes the tasting (5 wines + 1 x farmhouse beer) + a pizza (veg option available). Starts @ 5pm.

I come from Florence Toscany.
Came here in Australia for an adventure and after get in love of this country and decided to stay
I am a professional pizza maker from 18 years and work in different venues here in Sydney like fratelli fresh Vacanza Bella br**ta ecc and now working as a baker ( to improve my knowledge as a chef ) in Cherry moon Annandale.

Fin is back in town! While Oliver and Jonjo are deep in vintage, Gus has snuck out to chat about the good things they make down in Wurundjeri country (the Yarra valley). Piquettes / ciders / wine... You name it. We asked Baba if we could use her place and she said "of course, don't be silly". So for one night only, Baba's Place becomes Fin's Place. There's a special menu for the night and the Fin wines will be on tasting for the duration of the dinner. Tickets are essential. $70 gets you a full tasting of FIN's current releases + Baba's special set menu.

Somehow, we have managed to get all 3 members of Parley in Sydney this Sunday! Just before harvest, and in between winemaking, studying, mumming, and generally ruling at life, they thought it would be a great idea to come to our shop in Alexandria and pour their awesome wines for you. We agree.
Melo and David from GULA will be selling some snacks on the day influenced by their Korean and Argentinian background. Think BBQ Pork roll with Kimchi.

Parley are back and the wines are better than ever. Mel, Sarah and Joss have their own space in the Hills and the wines feel like they have a home now. They're using some Langhorne Creek fruit this time around. Exceptional brightness and clarity. Real and raw. Yum.

Louis Schofield cut his wine industry teeth as a delivery driver in Adelaide before going to work at a couple of wineries and finally landing at Ochota Barrels. He worked closely with Taras and still helps Amber and Yari make the wines. He also makes his own wine in the Ochota winery - Worlds Apart. Join Louis, his beautiful family, and us, at Bar Suze next week. $60 per head gets you 3 courses of Phil’s amazing food, a chance to try all the wines and meet Louis. More importantly, you’ll probably get to meet Greggo from Bar Suze which is worth the ticket price alone. Next Wednesday the 1st of February from 6pm. Space is limited. Link in bio.
