Owned by husband-and-wife duo Richard Watkins and Tracey Margrain, BentSpoke launched in 2014, with an industrial style taphouse and a small brewery in Braddon, Canberra (with no less than 18 different beers on tap).

Fast forward to 2022 and by now BentSpoke has conjured a massive following with their taphouse always packed with drinkers.

Their trophy cabinet is teeming with trophies and awards but the one that takes centre stage, is the Australian Champion Brewer prize which he has been awarded twice in their history.

With a legend at the helm and a ‘jack of all trades’ wife right alongside, BentSpoke have dominated the Australian craft beer industry and it seems they don’t intend to slow down and abide by the rules any time soon.

Brothers Nat and Callum Reeves started the brewing company in 2013, putting their stamp on the industry in Australia early, quickly earning a name for themselves as extreme hop masters, pushing the limits of hop utilisation.

Their first beer released was a daring double IPA, which really tested drinker’s taste buds, ultimately causing a Simcoe hop shortage with every batch released.
