"A nice, calm and respectable lady went into the pharmacy, walked up to the pharmacist, looked straight into his eyes, and said, "I would like to buy some cyanide."

The pharmacist asked, "Why in the world do you need cyanide?"

The lady replied, "I need it to poison my husband."

The pharmacist's eye got big and he exclaimed, "Lord have mercy! I can't give you cyanide to kill your husband. That's against the law! I'll lose my license! They'll throw both of us in jail! All kinds of bad things will happen. Absolutely not! You CANNOT have any cyanide!"

The lady reached into her purse and pulled out a picture of her husband in bed with the pharmacist's wife.

The pharmacist looked at the picture and replied, "Well now, that's different. You didn't tell me you had a prescription." See More @ https://www.facebook.com/Bashi-Joe-Comedy-763074983717383/

MR MUDENDA GETS BLIND OVER TEACHER RECRUITMENT IN LUKULU

It is believed that Mr Mudenda a former student of Chalimbana University travelled all the way from Magoye of Mazabuka District in Southern Province to Lukulu in search of good lucky charms for the ongoing Teacher recruitment but got his face deformed in the process. On his fateful day, Mr Mudenda approached a Witch doctor by the name of Mukomena of Kakuyu village after being directed to by his long time female friend who got employed in the last Teacher recruitment without a connection (Chipego).

It is believed that Miss Chipego who is a teacher now at Kawama Primary School in Shivuyunji District of Lusaka narrated to Mr Mudenda how Dr Mukomena of Lukulu helped her get employed after many attempts of applications in the previous regime.

In interview with Mr Kashina who happens to be a Youth Advocate for Lukulu, Mr Mudenda narrated that he started of from his area of residence on 15th April after receiving a message that gave him the hope he has been waiting for in his entire life. Before reaching Lukulu, he had to meet with Chipo at Situmbeko for more information concerning the same thing. After being fed with the information he wanted, Mr Mudenda narrated that he had no time to waste but to board into a bus that was headed to Mongu town as he was going to drop off in Kaoma and connect to Lukulu the following day.

On 16th April at around 14:00, he arrived in Lukulu. He had to call the Witch doctor to come and pick him because he was not familiar with the area. The doctor sent his henchman man who came and picked his customer at old Lukulu new market where he was having his lunch. They travelled using an oxcart to Kakuyu and the expedition took them 4hrs to the destination. After supper they had a talk and the work started. He was told sleep naked under a bed whilst holding a white mug cup that contained some roots with black liquid stuff.

The following morning at 05:00, he was told to drink the same black liquid stuff and on every sip he was told to do some incarnation by mentioning all that he wanted to do. After that, the witch doctor rub him with with some whitish stuff at his face, chest and feet.

Mr Mudenda narrated that on his fateful day, Doctor Mukomena put a fire in a small hut. He put a big black old pot on the fire that contained roots and a skull that looked like that of a human. The pot started scalding. The doctor started dancing whilst looking in to the pot. He told me to close my eyes and put the charge money in the pot. I got confused because he didn't mention the amount. Due to curiosity, I asked him how much should be that? He looked at me and shouted, just do the needful. I sank my hand into my bag and got a sum of K5,000 and put it in the pot, because that was what I prepared for after a tip by Chipo. We were able to communicate well because I was familiar with Silozi language due to the fact that I stayed in Kazungula for many years.

The doctor told me to remove my shirt and handover to him my papers. Because I was dressed by then. I did as I was commanded. As I was seated, He told me to stretch my legs close my eyes again. Within a short time I just felt a hot substance near my legs. The doctor held my head and pushed it down towards the hot pot and covered me with a stinking blanket. The atmosphere was unpleasant because it was very hot in their as eyes sweating heavily. He told me to speak to myself all that I wanted for the recruitment, of which I did.

He uncovered me and got back the pot on fire. After 5 minutes, he told me to bent again and he covered me with blanket with the pot between my legs. This time around, I felt my face as if it was dropping off. My eyes started dripping, I was failing to breathe properly. What happened next I never knew, only to be told I'm in a hospital and I couldn't see (I lost my sight).

As we speak now, Doctor Mukomena is under police custody together with his henchman, whilst Mr Mudenda is pleading to well wishers to take him back to his home in Magoye as someone assisted him to send his papers to the DEBS via post office because time was elapsing for applying.

CALLS FOR GOVERNMENT TO ENSURE ZAMBIANS HAVE 3 DECENT MEALS DAILY

Government has been asked to fulfill their campaign promise of ensuring each Zambian has 3 decent meals a day as many factors such as increased fuel prices and weather conditions are now making it difficult for this to be realized without the help of the necessary authorities. Civil Society Scaling Up Nutrition (CSO SUN) says the fulfillment of this promise will cement government's commitment to nutrition in the country.

How best can government effect this promise, considering the recent upward adjustment in petroleum pump prices?

HEROIC UKRAINIAN MARINE BLOWS HIMSELF UP ON BRIDGE TO PREVENT RUSSIA ADVANCE

A Ukrainian soldier has been hailed as a hero for blowing himself up to destroy a bridge in an effort to stop Russian tanks from invading his country.

Marine battalion engineer Vitaly Skakun Volodymyrovych was deployed to the Henichesk bridge in the southern province of Kherson when the Russian tanks advanced, the Ukrainian military said on its page.

When the battalion decided that the only way to block the armored column was by blowing up the bridge, Volodymyrovych volunteered to place mines on the span, the General Staff of the Armed Forces said.

And when he realized he had no time to get to safety, the brave soldier made the ultimate sacrifice on the bridge, which connected Russian-occupied Crimea and mainland Ukraine.

PROGRAMS NOT TO DO IF YOU WANT TO BE EMPLOYED FASTER IN ZAMBIA

BY (ZED STUDENTS POWER)

1. Teaching - we have a pool of labour force dating as far as 2011. Alot of tuntemba Universities have mushroomed which are offering teaching programs so thousands graduate every year. You will stand a better chance if you do sciences and Mathematics.

2. Nursing- the same curse which has befallen the teaching profession has also engulfed Nursing

3. Clinical Officer- a very good course but one that will make you regret and curse the day you went to study it. 10 years kuti yakwana no job

4. Physiotherapy: chineke kulabakofye if it's in Zambia. If you have to do it, do it out of passion and summon your ancestors to help you with applications.

5. Lab Tech: Don't try- only one lab technician is required in the district and sometimes 2.

6. Journalism: this profession can humble you 😓😓😓, you can stay for years and if you get a job chi K2500 salary muli iwe. Sometimes you just end up being a DJ.

7. Public Healthy- chililo
8. Social Work- the problem is that people who have done Development Studies and Psychology can also do your work.

9. Midwifery - ifyaku papisha: problem is that it's also saturated and a bit limited in terms of scope.

10. Banking and Finance 😁😁 Don't waste your money guys. Instead do Accounting courses they are more marketable than that BF thing.

11. Medicine 😁. This is the latest entry due to so many mushrooming universities offering medical programs and so many Zambians from studied abroad are back trying to get employed. However the government has no budget for all medical graduates.

N.B: for others who have ventured into the above professions they have easily found jobs but majority have had to suffer, cry and regret venturing in such professions.

My Advice: Do that which makes you happy and gives you peace, not something to get you a job faster. In addition, whilst you are still on campus network and do alot of internships so that you can be exposed. Ka nursing is very marketable in Botswana, South Africa and the USA not pa Zambia. Lastly start thinking of business (even charcoal business) before you even leave campus.

14 YEAR OLD GIRL DIES IN DEMONS EXORCISING EXERCISE

A 14 year old girl of Mumbwa has been burnt to death as a religious leader and six other men including the girl’s father were conducting a procedure to exorcise alleged demons from her.

According to Diamond TV Zambia, Central Province Police Commanding Officer, Donald Mwandila says the girl’s 35 year old father identified as, Gift Siyainga Mbulo Michelo and five others took the girl to an Evangelist at Zion Church, Pancho Shimangwala to perform some rituals to exorcise the demons.

He says the girl was made to sit on the ground and a pot containing hot stones placed between her legs.

Mr. Mwandila says then the girl’s father was asked to pour spirit and vinegar into to the pot containing the hot stones, then covered the girl in a blanket, which the other five men held tightly for the steam not to go out.

He says due to this process preliminary investigations indicate the girl got burnt and suffocated to death.

Mr. Mwandila says police visited the scene and found the body with multiple burns on the face, right thigh, left knee and hands and in a decomposed state.

He says due to the state of the body the family was advised to bury and mark the grave for exhumation.

Mr. Mwandila says police have since apprehended the six suspects to help in investigations.

The girl’s grandfather identified as Jericho Siabunda of Kambobe Mumbwa reported the incident to police and identified the girl as Chipo Molomoga.

The incident occurred on 15th February 2022 around 23:00hrs in Nanjuwa village Chief Muwezwa Chiefdom in Itezhi Tezhi District Southern Province.
