Peppermint Mojito for Winter

Remix the classic #mojito for a #drink that’s perfect for #winter. ❄️ Try the Peppermint Mojito at home and get ingredients at #Tabooz. 🍹 Peppermint Mojito Ingredients 25ml freshly squeezed lime juice 50ml white rum 15ml mint syrup (see recipe below) ice 100ml sparkling water 1 peppermint candy cane, to garnish For the mint syrup 100g golden caster sugar ½ tsp peppermint extract Method STEP 1 First, make the syrup. Heat the sugar and 100ml water in a pan over a medium heat until the sugar has dissolved. Turn off the heat and stir in the peppermint extract. Leave to cool completely. You will make more syrup than you need – any leftovers will keep chilled for up to three days. STEP 2 Pour the lime juice into a tall glass. Add the rum, 15ml of the mint syrup and a handful of ice. Stir well, then top up with the sparking water. Stir gently to combine, then garnish with the candy cane.

Cocktail time is anytime during #festive season. 🍹 Make this delicious and simple #cocktail and get what you need at #Tabooz. Send us a pic of your Southside Fizz cocktail for the chance to feature on our feed! SOUTHSIDE FIZZ 60ml gin 20ml lime juice 30ml simple syrup (1:1, sugar:water) 8 to 12 mint leaves 3 cucumber discs soda water, to top DIRECTIONS In a shaker, muddle the mint leaves and cucumber discs into the simple syrup. Add remaining ingredients and fill the shaker with ice. Shake and fine strain into a Collins glass over ice. Top with soda water and garnish with mint and a cucumber slice.

Peach Margarita Cocktail Recipe

Cool down with a #cocktail in the October heat. 🥵 Try a refreshing and delicious Peach Margarita. Get your ingredients at #Tabooz. 🍑🍹 🍑 PEACH MARGARITA RECIPE 🍑 INGREDIENTS 1 small peach, peeled and roughly chopped Salt, for rimming 60ml tequila 15ml peach schnapps 30ml lime juice Lime wheels or peach slices, for garnish DIRECTIONS Add chopped peach into a blender. Blend completely until smooth. Rub the outer rim of glass with a lime and rim with salt. In a cocktail shaker combine tequila, peach schnapps, lime juice and 30ml of the blended peach puree. Add ice and shake vigorously until the shaker is frosty. Strain into glass and top with ice. Garnish with a peach slice or lime wedge.
