Now that just makes us want to throw down another taco with a shot of tequila!😉

Since we’re local and all we ask you.. how many facts do you actually know about the country you live in? Such as, did you know, that the Route 62 in Western Cape is the longest wine route in the world!😁 Another fact is that we have a wine that is uniquely produced ONLY in South Africa, Pinotage!😁

Germany!😁 As we’re sure, most of you know that Beer originates from Germany and is a beverage that many enjoy😉 However, in Bavaria drinking beer is a way of life for the locals. On average a person in Bavaria drinks 150 litres of beer a year! Goodluck matching that amount😉

Our drink of choice for this month is Prosecco😁 You may be wondering what exactly this beverage is and to put it simply, it is a white sparkling wine made from a Prosecco grape. This beverage is often purchased for dazzling parties and fine dining occasion😉 We recommend pairing this with a sundried tomato pesto pasta in order to fully enjoy its range of flavour😁

Let’s add a little South African twist to this Scottish traveller we’ve so warmly welcomed into our drink selection. Bread and butter pudding is a dish best served with whiskey! Not only can you get your whiskey in-store at Tops, but if you can buy all the ingredients needed from white bread to orange marmalade and everything in-between if you visit us in-store!

Our drink of choice for this month is Whiskey. Did you know that whiskey is made from ‘wort’ which is distilled beer! 😉

We recommended serving it with a sweet dessert, Cranachan. This dessert is also known as the “uncontested king of Scottish desserts” and was made during the raspberry harvest with light whipped cream.
