King a former world number three and recent USA team boss will be back in the West Midlands on August 31 at The Cleveland Arms pub in Wolverhampton.

SIXTH RIDER ANNOUNCED |
It's a huge Heathens 'welcome back' to modern day Heathens hero Adam Roynon .
34 year old 'Royno' - possibly the sports unluckiest rider after suffering a number of serious (even life threatening) injuries since 2009 started his career in 2003 and has represented a number of British clubs and also ridden in Poland.
He represented the Heathens in 2011 and 2012 and then in 2018 for our National Trophy campaign but suffered a badly broken arm racing (ironically) at Wightlink Warriors Shale Track Racing Club Isle of Wight representing Plymouth (indeed coming within a very short time of losing his arm).
In 2023 Roynon will race for Poole in the Championship and also for Armadale in the National League but after confirming there will be no fixture clashes was quick to agree to a return to Heathens colours (on a bargain average) for our 2023 NORA Speedway League campaign.
So it's 'ommer time once more for Adam and the 6 riders racing for the inaugural NORA Speedway League title in Heathens colours will be Alfie Bowtell, Connor Coles, Adam Roynon, Tom Spencer, Kelsey Dugard and Chris Watts.

FIFTH RIDER ANNOUNCED |
Returning to A.R.H Heathens colours (and indeed Heathens colours,) once more is 'Alfie Bo' himself Mr Alfie Bowtell .
26 year old Alfie (who married his partner Jessica just this week and has a lovely son - Adel,) started his career with Rye House 'Raiders' (where strangely I once saw an online updater compare his corner entry to "being Ice Speedway style") and has since ridden for Mildenhall, Lakeside (National League and Championship,) Wightlink Warriors Shale Track Racing Club Isle of Wight , the mighty Heathens, in our 2018 team which entered and reached the final of the National Trophy (joining to replace the injured Adam Roynon ) which was also the season he finished runner up to his big mate Benjamin Morley in the NLRC losing out in a thrilling run off when Alfie crashed heavily after the pair had constantly passed and repassed one another.
Since then Alfie has represented Eastbourne (in the Championship) in 2019 and Plymouth (also in the Championship) in 2021 and 2022, and Kent Royals (National League) in 2022.
Alfie was also a member of the 2022 A.R.H Heathens on the IOW but after dropping just 1 point in round 1 of The Michael Richardson Trophy he was involved in a heavy first bend crash at Oxford whilst representing Plymouth with the ACL injury he suffered ending his season.
Now fully recovered Alfie will return to Mildenhall for 2023 and for Birmingham (so Heathens fans can pop along to Perry Barr to give him a cheer,) and was also quick to agree to becoming our 5th rider.
Rider number 6 will be announced early next week, and is another rider Heathens fans will be happy to welcome, meanwhile 'ommer um Alfie.

FOURTH RIDER ANNOUNCED |
Rider number 4 for the 2023 A.R.H Heathens - not that he needs any introduction to Heathens fans having represented Cradley in 2019 and also the A.R.H Heathens in 2022, so it's 'welcome back' to 'Tomdawg' AKA Tom Spencer .
23 year old Tom was a graduate from the MSDL to the 2019 Cradley Heathens Speedway team where he averaged a creditable 3.93 (4.90 including bonus points.)
Tom then moved on to Leicester Lion Cubs in 2021, averaging 5.96 (7.16 including bonus points) and staying with the Cubs for 2022, averaging 5.26 (6.37 including bonus points) as the Lion Cubs won the National League and Cup double, as well as being an important part of the Heathens team which won The Michael Richardson Trophy at Wightlink Warriors Shale Track Racing Club Isle of Wight .
Tom and his partner Elle Fleming live in Derbyshire and have several horses and a dog which accompanies them to most meetings.
The other two 2023 are also agreed and will be unveiled shortly.

THIRD RIDER ANNOUNCED |
The third rider confirmed for the A.R.H Heathens team in the inaugural NORA 92 British Speedway League is another rider returning after success with the Heathens in 2022.

28 year old Connor Coles is a third generation rider following in the footsteps of Grandad Bob and Dad Michael (a legend at Exeter speedway.)

Connor has 2 lovely children, Isabella and Poppie with his, equally lovely, partner Kirsty.

Since starting in 2012 Connor has consistently ridden in the National League and Championship and, as well as lifting the Michael Richardson Trophy with the Heathens in 2022 was also an integral part of the double winning Leicester Lion Cubs National League side.

A former Warrior Connor flies around Wightlink Warriors Shale Track Racing Club Isle of Wight and will be looking to pile up the points for the Heathens.

SECOND RIDER ANNOUNCED |
The second rider to be unveiled for the A.R.H Heathens 2023 team competing in the NORA 92 League is Chris Watts.
Chris is 32 years old and born in Ashford, Kent.
Chris started out as a grass track racer enjoying many podium finishes and previously has extensive speedway experience at MSDL level for several teams and in 2019 had several guest appearances at NL level.
In 2021 Chris rode for the A.R.H Heathens at Wightlink Warriors Shale Track Racing Club Isle of Wight and performed admirably to the extent he not only won The Wayne Garratt Memorial Trophy for Most Improved Heathen but also earned himself an NL place with Kent Royals in 2022 where he was an ever present, as well as continuing to be a key part of the Heathens Trophy winning 2022 team on the IOW.
Chris was very very quick to agree to a third season in Heathens colours.
Welcome Chris (and his lovely family - Mum, Dad and Brothers - at least 2 of whom are with him at every meeting).
