Expect a night of whisky talk shows, technical expertise and Italian flair from Tatsuya-san, Yamaoka-san and Enrico.

2 new interesting bottles from Spheric Spirits to kick off the month of December!

A 26 year old Wardhead, which is a teaspooned Glendfiddich. It has lots of Glenfiddich fruit with beautiful oaky coconut. Big bold wood impact without any astringency or sourness.

Next, a 20 year old Orkney, which is a Highland Park. It has the usual peat and salinity, but this particular cask is more on the fruity side. Elegant and delicious.

Friends With Drams has 2 interesting Laphroaigs to recommend over the weekend.

A special joint bottling between The Whisky Hoop and Kyoto Fine Wine and Spirits , an 18 year old Laphroaig which has been matured in a sherry hogshead. The Whisky Hoop is an independent bottler modelled after The Scotch Malt Whisky Society (SMWS), essentially a Japanese Whisky Society for whisky connoisseurs. Their bottles have always been highly sought after.

A 10 year old Oloroso-finished single malt from Islay (Williamson) which Milroy's has teamed up with fellow London drinks merchants Berry Bros. & Rudd to release. The ashy, smoky spirit pairs indulgently with the rich dried fruits from the cask, for a mouth-watering, sumptuous dram.

Friends With Drams is pleased to present a Highlander Inn exclusive bottling for Singapore, an 11 year old Longmorn!

Released under the Maggie’s Collection series, the cask was personally selected by Mr Tatsuya Minagawa for Singapore. Maggie’s Collection is one of Highlander Inn's core ranges.

This is the second exclusive bottling for Singapore, following the hugely popular “Obscure Speyside” released in 2021.
