Mama's Brew Shop Mama's Brew Shop Kombucha Mama’s Brew Shop is a craft kombucha brewing company based in Helensville, New Zealand.

It is the creation of two mamas and friends who have taken this ancient culture and turned it into a beautiful beverage, fit for the most discerning of modern hipsters. Our kombucha is raw and made with organic tea, herbs and spices. It is fermented in small batches in the brewery we built in our garden shed. ✨ We have some news...

Many of you would have noticed Mama's Brew Shop has been out of stock on our website. We sadly have decided to pause our non-alc range and concentrate our energies on our hard boozy booch, Happy Hour.

To say it has been a wild ride would be an understatement! We launched Mama's in 2016, and like all great enterprises, we brewed everything from Rene's garage. In 2017 we opened NZ's first-ever kombucha taproom. Then in 2020, we launched NZ's first double fermented hard kombucha, Happy Hour.

It has been really tricky to be a small brand supplying hospitality in the last two years! Hospo has borne the brunt of the covid restrictions, and it's heartbreaking for everyone who has worked so hard in the industry. It's also one of the reasons why we launched Happy Hour at the end of 2020.

But this we can say - we are so excited to be on this journey, to see the world of social drinking take on this new direction and to have an epic community of customers and suppliers joining us for the ride!

We're hoping Mama's Brew Shop isn't gone forever, more like a sabbatical... but we would like to thank all you Mama's fans for your love and support until now.
