🍇 Prosecco is named after the village of Prosecco near Trieste, Italy, although the grape variety it's made from is primarily grown in the Veneto and Friuli Venezia Giulia regions.

Aerating your wine (exposing it to air) gives it a chance to breathe before drinking. It softens the tannins, and can be achieved using a decanter or a an aerator. Video by Josh. #TuesdayTips #TheWineCellarGroup
Boil up a pound of pasta, and try our 30 Minute Red Wine Meat Sauce for a #NationalPastaDay worthy dinner: Heat 2 tablespoons olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Brown 1/2 pound ground beef or Italian sausage; add 1/4 cup grated onion and cook til soft. Add 2 cloves minced garlic and 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning and cook for 1 minute. Add 1/2 cup red wine and reduce by at least half. Stir in 1 28oz can of crushed tomatoes and 1/2 tablespoon sugar; bring to a simmer for 10 minutes. It will be thick! Season with salt and pepper to taste.
