Mezcal Xamán is the magical blend of earthly flavors, sourced from mature Angustifolia agaves, double distilled by our master artisans in copper stills. Said to have descended as the elixir of the gods, Mezcal Xamán will take you to undiscovered territories of your inner soul.

From Sunset to Sunrise, this Día de los Mu***os edition was truly out of this world.

We cannot thank enough all those who made this possible: production, kitchen, bar, music, art, and everyone else who helped us manifest such a timeless weekend.

And finally a massive appreciation to all our friends, old and new, who came and danced with us till the very last song. “In the midnight hour I can feel your power” 🎵

It fills our hearts to share these moments with our community that grows bigger and brighter everyday! This is what makes everything worth it, to bring together people with whom you begin by sharing a Xamanic Journey that later becomes a life journey.

We traveled to Santiago Matatlán to visit the Mezcal Xaman production at our "palenque" and then devoured a delicious lunch surrounded by the majestic agave fields and Oaxacan mountains.

The Fermentation - Fermentación After the cooked piñas are grinded, the mash is placed in wooden barrels together with some water where it is left to ferment. During the fermentation process, the natural yeasts work their magic to convert the agave sugars into ethanol and other compounds that make mezcal. Unlike other spirit manufacturing, traditional mezcal does not use processed yeast, the process is entirely natural! The fermentation can take between a few days to up to 10 days -- this is determined by external temperatures, the weather, the agave variety, the intensity of the roast, and the judgment of the maestro mezcalero. 💫 #mezcalxaman #theonewhoknows #fermentacionnatural #natural
