PLAU KANE FESTIVAL

Plau Kane Festival is a festival celebrated by the people of Plau in Yilo.
The name Kane means light. So literally it means PLAU LIGHT FESTIVAL. I was told Plau was the first place in Yilo that had light ( ) so every evening when they on it people from other towns come to look at it. Those days there was no light off so light is always on hence their appellation PLAU KANE e gbo we gblee kɔkɔɔkɔ. And it brighten everywhere.
