Our Carmarthen seniors (age 11-18) have been developing this awesome SOAD tune for several weeks. Their attitudes and efforts in practising will take them along way in life – well done guys.
The complex fun beats, drop D multi layered guitar and bass lines, never mind the phrasing in the lyrics make this a tricky tune and proud of them for what they’ve achieved with it so far is an understatement. Well done 🤘🤘🤘🤘

Great tune which, as we get more confident with playing through practice and rehearsal will result in us increasing the tempo and the energy level as a result.
Our juniors (age 7-11) across South Wales have enjoyed developing this awesome tune, involving power chords, a potentially stand out bass line, potentially complicated drum rhythms, and of course a great singalong vocal. It is therefore somewhat challenging for lower ability players and great form for more advanced.
We currently have limited space for Drums across Ammanford, Carmarthen and Llanelli groups while there is more space for guitar, bass guitar and vocals.

Our Ammanford seniors (age 11-18) in action on this awesome Oasis tune. They’ve been studying it for the last two weeks and playing it to a really pleasing standard – lots of open chords, a very varied drum and bass (for Oasis) and a great vocal Melody and guitar solo (thank you Noel).

The bass guitar - the coolest instrument (although I am partial to the trombone, not that I have ever played one).
What does the bass do - combines the rhythm of the drum and pitch from guitar/keyboard and glues them together. This makes it THE most important instrument in any band. Adults get it, teenagers sort of get it but it is the least popular instrument in the juniors.
We currently have bass space in all groups - Carmarthen, Llanelli, Ammanford along with Swansea, Bridgend and Cardiff.
