Avignonesi is famous for Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, but they also explore different styles and grape varieties, including Da-Di. Da-Di is a unique wine from Avignonesi, made from 100% Sangiovese and aged in terracotta amphorae. This ancient winemaking technique allows the wine to maintain its purity and freshness, showcasing bright red fruit flavors, earthy minerality, and lively acidity. The name “Da-Di,” meaning “earth, soil” in Chinese, reflects the connection to the terracotta vessels and Avignonesi’s commitment to natural, biodynamic winemaking.
