Hot summers in Sicily (or anywhere, for that matter) demand light, easy-to-prepare meals. This vegetarian pasta recipe fits the bill deliciously. And, it pairs beautifully with Planeta’s gorgeously vibrant Bianco from the slopes of Mount Etna. 🍝
Made with 100% Carricante—signature grape of this volcanic paradise—it’s elegant, racy, and citrus packed. Francesca Planeta calls it “Sicily’s answer to Chablis.” We just call it incredibly delicious.

Don’t fall! Bastien Lalauze, Head Winemaker for Côté Mas sparkling, bravely takes out a bottle of Crémant de Limoux Brut from a wall of stacked bottles, 76 across, 46 high and 6 rows deep, in order to show the natural lees sediment after second fermentation in bottle, as well as the impressive architectural integrity of their storage system! Bastien oversees production at Château Martinolles in Limoux, home to Côté Mas’ range of Crémant and sparkling wines, which also happens to be the very region where the first sparkling wines of France were developed.

In Pauillac, the local landscape is almost white in color, due to the light-hued pebbles that cover the gravelly soil. It’s these different layers of soil that contribute to the complexity of the wine, giving Les Legendes Pauillac its signature, elegant characteristics.
The Les Légendes grape growers believe that the key to creating sensational Saint Émilion wine lives underground. The limestone-rich soil on the Right Bank is ideal for growing the Merlot grape. It’s secrets like these that produce the voluptuous wines that Saint Émilion is famed for.
The Medoc peninsula takes its name from the latin ‘In medio Aquae’, meaning in the middle of the waters. It’s this unique situation between Gironde Estuary and the Atlantic that ensures the slow ripening of the cabernet sauvignon, the king of grapes, which gives Les Légendes Médoc its extraordinary taste.
Nestled between the Garonne and the Dordogne River lies the Entre Deux Mers . This hilly region boasts a variety of soils, giving a great diversity of terroirs that are perfectly suited to our grapes. This unique landscape is what creates the harmonious blend of flavors bursting from Les Légendes Bordeaux Rouge.
For over 150 years, our master winemakers have been crafting the finest Bordeaux wines. Generations of local knowledge have taught our grape growers exactly how to get Les Légendes Bordeaux Blanc so incredibly crisp and aromatic. Harvesting the grapes before sunrise keeps the grapes cold and preserves their delicate aromas, producing wine that’s bursting with flavor from the moment it’s opened.
Meet Eden, a Comtois horse and the newest member of the Domaines Paul Mas family. This seven-year-old beauty is part of an old breed of French draft horses, trained for agricultural work.
Many of the estate vineyards are managed organically and Jean-Claude Mas is always looking for ways to minimize intervention. Having manually ploughed vineyards many years ago, the memory of this work flooded back when he met Eden, and the two hit it off immediately!
Nowadays, Jean-Claude is often found trailing behind her, as Eden strolls through the vineyard rows.
