E.P. Carrillo Essence Maduro is handmade in Carrillo's Dominican factory with a lovely, dark Mexican San Andres Maduro wrapper. This rich and flavorful leaf perfectly covers an aged blend of Nicaraguan long-fillers and an Honduran binder. Together, this perfectly blended mix delivers richness, spices, cocoa-notes, and sweetness. All that flavor comes along with the balance and smoothness that EPC is well-known for. The highly anticipated Top 25 Ci**rs for 2024 list by Cigar Aficianado has come out and we are happy to say that we currently carry 6 of these ci**rs in our store.

#1 Cigar of 2024 - My Father The Judge Gran Robusto. This cigar is made with two binders, one Corojo and one Criollo. This cigar is rich and complex with an ample core of earth, toast and wood along with finer nutty details and sweet undercurrents all amounting to a bold smoke that resonates with balance and satisfaction.

#12 Cigar of 2024 - Askum Claro Robusto. Legend has it that Aksum is the final resting place of the Ark of the Covenant. Imagery and biblical stories aside, the cigar is an engaging composition of Nicaraguan to***co, Connecticut broadleaf and an Ecuadoran Sumatra-seed wrapper. It’s made in Nicaragua by A.J. Fernandez and used to go by a different name: Metapa. Foundation rebranded the cigar in early 2024. Regardless of what it’s called, Aksum is a sweet-and-spicy smoke with solid underpinnings of coffee bean and earth.

#14 Cigar of 2024 - Casa Magnum Colorado XV. This cigar has an oily leaf wrapper of Ecuadoran Habano. Its bold, leathery character is balanced by sweeter, dessert-like aspects of caramel notes and coffee with a sweet, nougat finish.

#16 Cigar of 2024 - Perdomo 30th Anniversary Sun Grown Epicure. Perdomo says the wrapper of this all-Nicaraguan cigar was aged in Bourbon barrels and the to***co in the blend was 15 years old before rolling. Oak certainly factors into the taste of this cigar, which also shows notes of leather, caramel and nougat.

#17 Cigar of 2024 - Plasencia Cosecha 151 La Musica. Premium ci**rs are typically made with to***cos harvested from different years, but the all-Honduran Plasencia Cosecha 151 line is made entirely of leaves from one particular season that the Plasencia family felt was exceptional. This vintage-specific blend comes from a 2016-2017 harvest, which marks the Plasencias’ 151st since 1865, according to family records. La Musica consists mostly of Criollo ’98 to***co, and every puff is like taking a bite of Christmas fruitcake as a chorus of baking spices, candied fruit, molasses and walnut notes all harmonize leaving a rum-barrel finish to bring the whole holiday effect home.

#19 Cigar of 2024 - Herrera Esteli Norteño - This full-bodied firecracker is no joke, boasting long-fillers from the fertile Nicaraguan growing regions of Jalapa and Esteli, both known for producing bold n’ hearty to***cos. A Honduran binder cloaks these leaves with an oily San Andres Maduro wrapper draped over top. This long-anticipated release delivers bold notes of pepper and chocolate that endure to the finish and are backed by hints of cashew, cocoa, and espresso.

Cigar Aficianado describes the #1 Cigar of 2024 ad follows, "In 2016, the Garcias released My Father The Judge, a bold, full-bodied cigar packaged in boxes with lithographic art resurrected from 1905. With the exception of the dark, Sumatra-seed Ecuadoran wrapper, all the to***co comes from farms across Nicaragua that the Garcias spent many years obtaining. As is typical of Cuban construction, the cigar is made with two binders, one Corojo and one Criollo. The to***co comes from at least three regions: the La Bonita Two farm in Jalapa, El Pedrero in Estelí and San Rafael in Namanji.

Looking for that perfect smoke for the big game. We suggest you try a Foundation Olmec. Nick Mellilo is one of the cigar industry's most prolific blenders. His latest release, the Olmec, is an homage to the Olmec Civilization, one of the most influential ancient societies of the early Americas. The Olmecs pre-date the Aztecs and Mayans, and were one of the first to consume and cultivate to***co in the same soils that this all-new cigar is grown in.

The seed variety that comes from these soils is considered one of the oldest seed varieties in the world. Olmec ci**rs contain the finest Nicaraguan filler to***cos from the Esteli and Jalapa valleys. After fermentation, these filler to***cos are bale aged for three years before arriving on the production floor. It's now officially time to start your Christmas shopping! If you are looking for something unique for the cigar smoker on your shopping list may be recommend the Muestra de Saka NLMTHA. It comes in it's own box or coffin!

This is the fourth vitola in Steve Saka's line. It is a 7x38 lancero. For Steve Saka, he has been very forthcoming about his position about lanceros. Going back to his days at Drew Estate, he acknowledged both the challenge of making the vitola from a blending and construction standpoint, as well as his own lack of preference for the size. Now as the head of his own company, Dunbarton To***co & Trust, his opinion doesn’t seem to have changed much but because of the clamor for it, he made this lancero. And to put his own touch to it named it with the acronym NLMTHA (Now Leave Me The Hell Alone). Saka says the line as a whole “reflect(s) the blending machinations of myself,” as the name means Sample of Saka or Saka’s Sample. The blend of this ultra-premium begins with a silky-smoth Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, bound with San Andres Negro to***co, and a standard blend of Nicaraguan long-fillers. Clocking in at just a touch above medium-bodied, the brings plenty of that Dunbarton goodness in a pencil-shaped package. Notes of cocoa, earthiness, nuts, and red pepper all combine to form an amazing experience that can be enjoyed at any point in the day.

It's that time of year, everyone is looking for that special Christmas gift. If you have someone in your life that smokes ci**rs, besides having a great selection of ci**rs, we definitely have all of the accessories they would need.

For that someone who has been extra special this year, we carry a great selection of beautiful humidors. These humidors are made with inlaid wood and lined in Spanish Cedar that will keep ci**rs fresh but allow them to age properly.

We carry travel humidors that have a hard exterior shell to prevent damage as well as foam lining to keep the ci**rs safe. We carry three different sizes that can hold 5, 10 or 50 ci**rs.

We also have a beautiful foldable humidor that has an exterior of leather and is lined with Spanish Cedar. This humidor is sure to make all their friends jealous.
