We have had a fabulous response to our job advertisement - but I have heard rumblings in the village of other interested applicants who have not yet messaged me

We are hoping to open during March and we are asking for all applications to be in by Saturday 24th February to enable us to get ourselves fully staffed and everyone trained up before we open

We can only employ over 18s as we will be selling alcohol - college students looking for weekend work are more than welcome to apply

We are thrilled to announce that in early spring we will be throwing open the doors of the village shop in Curry Mallet once again

We have lived in Curry Mallet since 2015 and were frequent visitors to the village shop over those 9 years whilst on dog walks, emergency trips for something for dinner or chocolate to bribe the kids with on the way home from school - so we know how much the village shop has been missed in the past year

The Out Post in Curry Mallet has been chosen as the new name - as a little nod to the farm shop and deli that we already run in Lopenhead - Trading Post Farm Shop

Work is starting on The Out Post next week but there is a lot do so I will keep you all updated with our opening date soon

The opening hours - once we get that far - will be Monday to Saturday 8.30-6 and Sunday 10-4

We are really looking forward to bringing back the community spirit in the little shop
