With 24 years at Wente Family Estates, Christine Wente has been instrumental in shaping the future of the winery. As Chairman, she drives innovation in wine quality, sustainability, and community engagement, ensuring that Wente Vineyards remains at the forefront of the California wine industry.

Christine, the first member of the fifth generation to join the family business, brings an impressive background with a degree from Princeton University and an MBA from Stanford. Her leadership spans sales, marketing, sustainability, and hospitality. She’s also a passionate advocate for the arts through The Wente Foundation for Arts Education, funding over $1M for local arts education.

But Christine is not alone—joining her are two incredible women, Niki Wente, Director of Vineyard Operations, and Aly Wente, VP of Marketing & Customer Experience, who together are carrying on the legacy of excellence and innovation at Wente Vineyards.

This Chocolate Mint Martini is sure to be a crowd pleasure this holiday season. Check out the recipe and shop for everything you need for the holidays: https://tinyurl.com/2yh36e4n Chocolate-Mint Martini 1/4 cup granulated sugar Crushed ice 1/2 cup plus 1 tablespoon dark crème de cacao liqueur 1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons vodka, preferably premium 1 1/2 tablespoons crème de menthe liqueur or peppermint liqueur 1/4 cup whipped topping 6 chocolate-covered creamy mint candies 1. Spread sugar on plate. Wet rims of 2 martini glasses with moist paper towel to dampen; dip rims of glasses into sugar to coat. 2. Fill cocktail shaker halfway with ice. Add crème de cacao, vodka and crème de menthe; cover and shake vigorously. Strain martini into prepared glasses; top with whipped topping and candies.

Spread salt in shallow dish; wet rims of 4 rocks glasses with water and dip into salt to coat. Add ice to glasses. 2. In 2 batches, fill cocktail shaker halfway with ice; add 6 tablespoons tequila, 2 tablespoons liqueur, 1/2 cup coconut milk, 1/4 cup coconut water, 2 1/2 tablespoons lime juice and 2 tablespoons agave nectar to shaker. Cover shaker; shake vigorously. 3. Strain tequila mixture into prepared glasses; garnish with rosemary sprigs and cranberries.
