Now that I’m finished with law school (yay!), it’s so nice to get back to my leather work again. This is not finished, obviously, but I wanted to show you the interior construction of a trifold wallet. I was worried I wouldn’t remember in what order I should sew the pieces together, but I got it right the first time. More to come… 😊

Monday-Saturday 4pm-8pm, Sundays 4-6pm, CLOSED Tuesdays

Holiday hours: We are closed on Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Day. The day before each of these three holidays, we close at 4pm.

Location:

West Texas Leather products are available exclusively online at westtexasleather.com and in the gift shop at Hot Springs Airport in Ruidosa, Texas. Our mailing address is 12901 FM 170, Marfa, Texas 79843, but our physical location is in Ruidosa, which is 54 miles west of Marfa via FM 2810. We LOVE having visitors! If you are planning a trip to the Marfa or Big Bend area, please come see us. Also, please note that your GPS (and cell phone) will NOT work in this area, nor will you be able to find us by plugging in our address. If you need to know our physical location prior to planning your trip, put “3TE4” into any search engine and go from there. (3TE4 is the FAA designator for Hot Springs Airport.)

In addition to being a super-fun SHOPPING destination, the airport gift shop also sells ice, beer, wine, groceries (including perishables), vehicle fluids and locally crafted art and souvenirs. The gift shop features an on-premise bar (the Most Remote Bar in Texas!) and is a UPS Authorized Shipping Outlet. We also have the only clean public restroom in the county, or in the top five, at least. If you are interested in spending some time in the area, please send me an email ([email protected]), and I would be very happy to help you plan the details of your trip!
