Giuseppe Quintarelli is considered the father of Amarone, the famous wine from the Veneto.

The history of the estate began with Giuseppe’s father Silvio in 1924, and was taken over by Giuseppe in the 1950s. The estate is located in the village of Negrar, on the hills north of Verona.

His career lasted 60 years, and the estate is now run by his children and grandchildren.

This Amarone delivers intense layers of sweet black cherries, ripe figs, Christmas spices, dark chocolate, roasted coffee beans and well-worn leather.

The Dal Forno family has been making wine since 1983 at their 65 acre estate, located in Val D’Illasi.

All of the grapes that go into their Valpolicella Superiore DOCG ‘Monte Ladolette’ undergo a light drying process, lasting about a month and a half.

This process results in exceptional aromatic intensity and longevity, making Valpolicella Superiore remarkably unique within its category.
