Coming from the world of spirits, Alexandra fell in love with these exceptional lands and, in 1994, she set herself the mission of creating an exceptional wine. The gamble paid off: in just a few years, Clos Apalta became an 𝒊𝒄𝒐𝒏 𝒐𝒇 𝑪𝒉𝒊𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒏 𝒘𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒔, winning numerous awards. 🍷🍇 A confidential cuvée produced in very limited quantities, 𝑳𝒂 𝑪𝒉𝒂𝒑𝒆𝒍𝒍𝒆 𝒅𝒆 𝑳𝒂 𝑴𝒊𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝑯𝒂𝒖𝒕-𝑩𝒓𝒊𝒐𝒏 is the Second Wine of Château La Mission Haut-Brion. This rare wine is a superb introduction to the style of the estate. La Chapelle de La Mission Haut-Brion takes its name from the Lazarist priests of La Mission who have cultivated the vineyard on the estate since the 18th century.

🍷🇫🇷 2022 offers us the very best of what Burgundy has to offer: a vintage that is both generous and high-quality! And yet, the weather conditions were intense, oscillating between frost, heatwaves, and drought. A later-than-usual budburst helped protect the vineyards from April frosts. Then, the vine, thanks to the subtle balance it maintains with Burgundy's terroir, brilliantly overcame four heatwave episodes and a particularly challenging drought. This harmony is reflected in the wines: they reveal beautiful concentration and perfect balance. The 2022 vintage in Burgundy is surprising, as despite the very hot conditions of the year, its fresh fruit aromas and delightful liveliness promise a bright future.
