🎨🍷 Julien de Beaumarchais de Rothschild, the co-owner of 𝐂𝐡𝐚̂𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐮 𝐌𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐨𝐧 𝐑𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝, is in charge of the estate's artistic and cultural activities and dealings with artists. Prior to the release of the new 2022 label, he shares his vision of the tribute to his grandfather.

“Gérard Garouste's work can be interpreted as a coat of arms that needs to be analyzed carefully. It features three powerful images: the ram, the pediment of Château Mouton Rothschild and the portrait of Baron Philippe. It all started with a memorable encounter, between Baron Philippe and the Pediment, the emblematic feature of Mouton since its inception. This encounter gave rise to a symbol that both transcends and expresses them: the ram, a double incarnation of both Baron Philippe, whose astrological sign is Aries, and Mouton Rothschild, whose name and vital energy it expresses. For me, this label is the story of a transformation.”

🎨🍷𝟭𝟵𝟮𝟮 - 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟮: the 100th anniversary of Baron Philippe de Rothschild's arrival at Chateau Mouton Rothschild.

For the 2022 vintage of Château Mouton Rothschild, the artist 𝑮𝒆́𝒓𝒂𝒓𝒅 𝑮𝒂𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒔𝒕𝒆 has produced an original piece entitled “Hommage au Baron Philippe”.
This label celebrates a pivotal moment: in 1922, Baron Philippe de Rothschild took over the helm of the Château, ushering in an era of innovation and vision. Inspired by historical photos and his discussions with Julien de Beaumarchais de Rothschild, Gérard Garouste has created a dream-like, emblematic coat of arms, featuring the Baron's portrait, the famous ram, the vine and the château's emblematic façade.

The artist describes the work as a tribute to the Baron's elegance, determination and playful aura:
“𝐻𝑒 𝑤𝑎𝑠 𝑎 𝑣𝑒𝑟𝑦 𝑒𝑙𝑒𝑔𝑎𝑛𝑡, ℎ𝑎𝑟𝑑-𝑤𝑜𝑟𝑘𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑚𝑎𝑛, 𝑤𝑖𝑡ℎ 𝑎 𝑐𝑜𝑛𝑓𝑖𝑑𝑒𝑛𝑡 𝑎𝑖𝑟 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑎 𝑠ℎ𝑎𝑟𝑝 𝑤𝑖𝑡. 𝐼 𝑡𝑟𝑖𝑒𝑑 𝑡𝑜 𝑐𝑎𝑝𝑡𝑢𝑟𝑒 𝑡ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑖𝑛 𝑚𝑦 𝑝𝑜𝑟𝑡𝑟𝑎𝑖𝑡.”

Discover this exceptional creation, a testament to a rich history and timeless craftsmanship. 🍷✨

✨🍷 For over 160 years, Bertani has been a pioneer in Italian winemaking, known for its exceptional 𝑨𝒎𝒂𝒓𝒐𝒏𝒆 𝒘𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒔. Nestled in the heart of Veneto, their 200 hectares of vineyards thrive in ideal conditions, producing complex, age-worthy wines crafted from native varieties like Corvina and Rondinella.

Bertani revolutionized winemaking with the “𝑎𝑝𝑝𝑎𝑠𝑠𝑖𝑚𝑒𝑛𝑡𝑜” process, concentrating the flavors and sugars of the grapes to create rich, aromatic Amarone wines. James Suckling has named 𝐁𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐢’𝐬 𝐀𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐚 𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐩𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐚 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐜𝐨 𝟐𝟎𝟏𝟓 as their 𝐖𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒, celebrating its balance, refinement, and timeless character.

🥂🍾 𝐃𝐨𝐦 𝐏𝐞́𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐨𝐧 is a prestigious Champagne House that draws inspiration directly from the philosophy of Pierre Pérignon, rooted in the ultimate pursuit of perfection in the art of champagne-making. Dom Pérignon embodies a creative ambition: the ceaseless quest for harmony in champagne. Its sensory values are revealed: precision, intensity, texture, minerality, complexity, completeness – a way to sustain the note. But every creative process has its constraint. For Dom Pérignon, it is the vintage. An unwavering commitment to being the witness to the harvest of a single year, no matter the challenge, even at the cost of renouncing a vintage declaration. 🇪🇸🍇 The 𝐀𝐥𝐠𝐮𝐞𝐢𝐫𝐚 𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐲 lies in the heart of the Ribeira Sacra wine region in Galicia, along the steep slopes of the Miño and Sil rivers. Renowned for its vertiginous terraces and indigenous grape varieties, this unique terroir produces complex and refined wines that mirror its spectacular landscapes. In 1979, Fernando González, a passionate visionary, embarked on a mission to revive this forgotten vineyard, bringing attention to local grape varieties such as brancellao, merenzao, and caíño, alongside more common varieties like mencía and godello. Benefiting from a rich mosaic of microclimates and slate soils, this exceptional terroir shapes wines with freshness, minerality, and complexity, hallmarks of the region. Driven by a relentless pursuit of excellence, the winery made a bold decision in the 2000s: despite limited yields, it opted to produce wines meant for ageing, defying local practices favouring young wines. This gamble unlocked the ageing potential and exceptional longevity of the region's wines. By combining tradition with innovation, Algueira has breathed new life into a historic winemaking landscape, establishing itself as one of Galicia’s most esteemed producers. Pizarra, Escalada, Dolio… discover these remarkable bottles!

🆕🍷 Beyond its chivalrous name, steeped in heroism, 𝐂𝐡𝐚̂𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐮 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐯𝐚𝐥 𝐁𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐜 embodies the excellence of the illustrious Saint-Émilion appellation. Known worldwide, the estate oversees a property whose configuration has remained almost unchanged since 1871: 39 contiguous hectares, divided into 45 plots, with vines averaging 42 years old. Château Cheval Blanc’s expertise, its art of enhancing the terroir, and its bold choices in grape varieties give the estate’s wines unparalleled freshness, elegance, power, and finesse. This boldness also reflects in their philosophy, firmly committed to ecology, particularly through their “agroecology” approach. Initiated several years ago, this approach is reflected in practices such as polyculture, cover crops, soil preservation, planting fruit and forest trees, fostering biodiversity, and installing beehives. Project after project, Château Cheval Blanc continues to rediscover its roots while reinventing itself, as demonstrated by its latest initiative: 𝒏𝒆𝒘 𝒑𝒂𝒄𝒌𝒂𝒈𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒃𝒊𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒆𝒄𝒐𝒍𝒐𝒈𝒚 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒓𝒆𝒇𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕.

🇩🇪⭐ The 𝐕𝐚𝐧 𝐕𝐨𝐥𝐱𝐞𝐦 Estate, one of the oldest and most prestigious in the Saar Valley in Wiltingen, Germany, was initially a renowned wine-producing monastery in the Mosel region. Acquired at the end of the 18th century by the Van Volxem family from Brussels, the estate quickly revealed to its new owners the great potential of its fresh slate soils and ideal exposures. Aware of Riesling's ability to develop an unusually rich aromatic palette there, blending floral, fruity, and spicy notes, the Van Volxem family gradually elevated the estate’s white wines to rank among the region's finest. Through the ages, the estate has preserved its grandeur: today, under the direction of Roman Niewodniczanski, it reveals a precious heritage of old, ungrafted vines, just steps away from the famed Egon Müller estate. Advocates of meticulous handwork and organic farming, Roman and his team intentionally reduce yields to retain only the finest grapes. With a natural winemaking approach, free from additives, their commitment to quality and attention to detail are the pillars of their expertise. The result is Rieslings of rare elegance, with remarkable complexity and structure. These wines, renowned for their exceptional ageing potential, continue to impress international critics with their purity and balance. Take this opportunity to explore the new vintages from this prestigious Mosel reference in our selection!

This precious selection brings together some of the estate’s oldest vintages, such as 𝟏𝟗𝟐𝟕, 𝟏𝟗𝟒𝟏, 𝟏𝟗𝟒𝟑, 𝟏𝟗𝟒𝟔, 𝟏𝟗𝟒𝟕, 𝟏𝟗𝟓𝟎, 𝟏𝟗𝟓𝟗, 𝟏𝟗𝟕𝟗, 𝟏𝟗𝟖𝟏, 𝟏𝟗𝟖𝟒, 𝟏𝟗𝟖𝟔, 𝟏𝟗𝟖𝟖, 𝟏𝟗𝟗𝟔, 𝟏𝟗𝟗𝟖. A symbol of history, Château d'Yquem, the only Premier Cru Supérieur in the 1855 Bordeaux classification, was managed by the same family for nearly 400 years. The result of a rare alchemy between geology, geography, and climate, and capable of ageing for centuries, it is a jewel of nature, a treasure of time. This ability to transcend ages reveals itself in a palette of unique aromas and flavours: saffron and cloves, dried orange zest and pomegranate, cigar box, bonfire, sea salt, lavender honey, marrons glacés, crème brûlée… it is a wine that knows how to magnify the passage of time with joy. At the heart of its infinitely vibrant and ever-evolving aromas, Yquem invites us to a memorable experience, as delicious as it is moving. It reminds us that time is not an elusive notion that slips away, but a precious drive towards the present moment, which each of us is invited to seize and savour.

🇫🇷🍇 Founded by Jean-Claude Boisset, 𝐃𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐝𝐞 𝐥𝐚 𝐕𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐞 is one of Burgundy’s most iconic estates. Following the acquisition of the Les Evocelles plot near Gevrey-Chambertin, the estate expanded into the Côte de Beaune with the Vougeot vineyard twenty years later, followed by the Monopole of Clos Blanc in 1999, officially establishing the domaine. Domaine de la Vougeraie is distinguished by a mosaic of 67 plots spread over 34 hectares, with two-thirds located in the Côte de Nuits and one-third in the Côte de Beaune. Comprising 33 prestigious appellations, it is particularly renowned for its emblematic wine: Le Clos Blanc de Vougeot Monopole. Under the guidance of Sylvie Poillot, this biodynamically farmed and organically certified vineyard produces some of the finest wines in contemporary Burgundy, sourced from the top terroirs of both coasts. The Boisset family deserves special recognition for embracing the yield sacrifices that this demanding cultivation method requires, driven by an absolute commitment to precision and attention to detail. Bonnes Mares Grand Cru, Clos Vougeot Grand Cru, Le Clos Blanc de Vougeot, Pommard Village Les Petits Noizons, Gevrey-Chambertin Village La Justice… discover the exceptional character of these Burgundian gems.

🍾🥂 𝐊𝐫𝐮𝐠 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐞 𝐂𝐮𝐯𝐞́𝐞 was born from the imagination of one man, Joseph Krug, who aspired to create, year after year, the best champagne possible, regardless of climatic variations. Faithful to this legacy, the House of Krug pays homage to his vision by crafting a new edition of the Grande Cuvée every year since 1843. The newest gem of the collection, the 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐞 𝐂𝐮𝐯𝐞́𝐞 𝟏𝟕𝟐𝐧𝐝 𝐄𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, is the result of a blend of 146 wines from 11 different years, ranging from 2016 to 1998. Based on the 2016 harvest—a year marked by extreme and contrasting weather conditions—this edition perfectly embodies the House’s expertise. Overcoming climatic challenges to create an exceptional champagne, Krug reveals a new edition rich in complexity and elegance. After seven years of rest in the House's cellars, these bottles develop a unique expression and remarkable elegance. The delicate, aromatic nose reveals aromas of white flowers, lavender, and almond, evolving in the mouth into an expression as intense as it is delicate. Notes of white fruit, citrus, and violet flourish, followed by subtle hints of eucalyptus and menthol.
