Currently dreaming of spring and all it brings, longer days, sunshine and flowers and pottering about the garden with a little G&T in hand. Here’s a pic of our award winning London Dry Gin up amongst some soothing blue bells, who doesn’t love a blue bell. Also featured is our Raspberry & Hibiscus made with fresh raspberries, soaked with the all essential juniper. Tis a sight, all those petals oozing their deep scarlet hue and sweet & sour flavour that combine to make for a delightful concoction. Hello All, Oh it's a chilly day today! I'm here with news.... In the new year we will be creating a brand new drinks list, adding new wines to compliment our fabulous menu and some fresh new spirits for the bar. We are kicking off early with the addition of Scout and Sage London Dry gin and Raspberry and Hibiscus pink gin, all produced a few miles away in Semington, a real local treasure.

SOLD! ✨💕✨ Thank you for your support, it’s really appreciated 💕✨💕This is a bit of an unusual request for me, but a few months ago a beautiful friend of Scout & Sage 19 year old Lily Gill was involved in a incredibly horrific drunk driver incident and has since been in a prolonged minimal conscious state. Lily had just got her wings for an airline and was absolutely loving it. She is one of life’s good ones, kind, sweet, beautiful, bright and fun and all this was put to a halt in August.
Her loving family who are extremely dear to our hearts have been by her side night and day ever since. Lily is a fighter, her family are too, and all our positive thoughts continue to be with them. I still can’t not properly comprehend what they’ve been through, what they are going through, and what lays ahead.
There has been a Go Fund Me
page set up where people have donated to help give financial assistance since the accident. We donated a while back, but feel it’s important to continue support like many others are still doing. They’re all in our thoughts.
So here’s where you come in, we need 8 people as we want to donate the full amount of £35 on 8 bottles of Scout & Sage Raspberry & Hibiscus Gin, it is Lily’s favourite, so if you’d like to help, please message us through Instagram or Facebook and state Lily’s Gin.
The first 8 people to do so will be messaged back within 24 hours notifying them of their purchase and we’ll let you know how best to make the payment and arrange delivery.

💚 I’ve very much enjoyed creating this gin for the lovely folk of . Locally gathered Meadow Sweet and a selection of other delicious things went into the pot. Collaboration is at the heart of , sharing thoughts and ideas and seeing them come to fruition. There’s always a slight feeling of worry that I try not to focus on when making products for others, obviously in the end it’s these lovely connections, working with other local businesses and the process of concocting recipes that brings a “well worth it satisfaction”. Happy customers and another project under our belts makes for a happy distiller 😊🍸If you’d like to purchase and sip away on this delightfully botanical gin, pop into where you’ll find it on the shelf at the end of this week, and what’s more lovely than a wander about the beautiful village of Lacock on an afternoon 💚🍸

Bespoke garden gin in the making from the very lovely garden of 💚 Quince, bay, pear, rosemary & lavender quietly doing its thing for a while. Then I’ll add a host of other ginny botanicals including juniper, lemon verbena, lemon peel, cinnamon and I’m thinking a touch of vanilla could work quite nicely. I think it’ll make for a quaffable little pre dinner pick me up, what do you think? 🍐💚✨🍸

E X C I T I N G N E W S ⚡️I am really pleased to announce that our open days are back! We’ll be flinging the doors open once a month from now onwards so all you wonderful ginny folk can swing by, have a peek about our tiny distillery and eye up our lovely 150L copper pot still whom we’ve affectionately named Maud.
The first one kicks off this Saturday 15th July, ( for directions, please find our address in our bio) and we are finalising dates for the rest of the year now. All will be shared via our social pages and our website.
We get asked all the time if we offer tours so this is so exciting for us and we have one or two interesting plans in the pipeline that we can’t wait to share with you soon.
So, if you’re local and love gin why not pop along, spread the word to family, friends, colleagues and all the rascals you know that can’t resist the wonderful juniper filled libation that is gin! Doors open 11am - 3pm. We’ll be offering out tasters and chatting about how we distill and Maud will hopefully be on the go so you can taste straight from the pot! See you Saturday 😀🍸🌱🙌

C O L L A B O R A T I O N 💚 It’s always a treat to pop up to the garden that the lovely people of keep. It is full of fruit, veg, flowers and herbs for the restaurant and is a gin distillers dream. I picked a selection of botanicals to go into a very special one off batch of gin. This time last year we did the same with botanicals from to make for a glorious evening of locally grown food and drink which was lovingly prepared by the Oak team and hosted in the magical setting of Bath. This year the evening will be held in the Oak garden with tables lain serving up a delectable menu and wine flowing from Limeburn Hill once more. This unique gin will be offered to kick off the night & holds flavours of French Tarragon ( a favourite of mine) lemon verbena, another, borage & bronzed fennel with lots of lemon & grapefruit peels. I feel this juniper filled libation has promise, very much like the evening itself. Unfortunately all spaces are now filled, but it’s seriously worth keeping an eye out on the Oak Instagram feed to see what they’re up to next. I feel very lucky to be involved with such talented folks once again. May it continue to next year, and the next…💚✨🍸

Last year the wonderful Holly from made a gin using botanicals from the vineyard and some of our wine. This was poured at the and food / wine pairing. A beautiful evening all round!
Just found the remains of the bottle, perfect end to a long summers day in the vineyard.

BOTANICALS 💚Gathered from the lovely walled garden for their own bespoke gin. They include lemon thyme, rosemary, lemon balm & mint which I think will make a delightfully quaffable juniper concoction for their guests to enjoy 🌱

After hibernating through the winter months our gorgeous travelling bar “Margo” who has been well loved and appreciated by a plenty over the last seven years is getting her annual lick of paint and a scrub today. Good Monday to you! 😀To ease the pain of the Monday “Meh’s” 😕 I’d like to cheer you up and cordially introduce you to our next Limited Edition ~ Lemongrass & Ginger Gin. Personally I love an aromatic note or two so for this recent concoction I’ve taken lots of delicious lemongrass, warming ginger and because just recently I dicovered that magnolia flowers are actually edible, que?! Yes! I set out and gathered some of the delicate blooms that are growing locally to the distillery. They hold a gorgeous soft gingery bread flavour so I’ve added a few to this batch to bring a rounded spice to it’s finish.
I hope you find it thoroughly delicious. It’ll make for the perfect special tipple to clink glasses with over the Kings Coronation weekend. Head to our website to pre-order yours. Link as they say, in bio… #🍸 #👑

B O T A N I C A L S ❤️ Raspberries with their sweet and slightly tart aspects. Hibiscus with it’s slightly sour citrusy floral notes.
Both delicious, and more than glorious when combined to make Raspberry & Hibiscus Gin. Perfect sipping at anytime of year, but fear not lovely gin guzzlers,summer will soon be upon us, I believe it. Even if the weather is at present, presenting a rather different opinion.

After resting away for a month our limited edition Mother’s Ruined Gin is now bottled and labelled and good to go 🍸🙌💕 Orders will be posted on Monday so there’s still time to order from our online shop. Link in bio🍸 Locally picked gorse flower and rosemary flowers went into the pot along with pomelo & grapefruit and cardamom 🍸 To whomever gets their hands on a sploosh, it’s pretty darn delish with a sprig of rosemary and a twist grapefruit peel 💕🍸💕

It’s back!! We love being part of Bradford on Avon. The first one of 2023 kicks off on 4th March and we’ll be there alongside some fab traders. There’ll be Gin (of course!) and loads of other foodie stalls offering up deliciousness including, artisan bread, delectable cheeses, jams, pickles & vegan cheeses, cakes & sweet treats you can’t say no too & lots of handmade savoury bites 😋 Plus a host of brilliant homeware makers that’ll be showing off their wares to tickle your artistic atheistic. Had a wonderful trip down to Cornwall at the weekend. Especially loved seeing the gorse begin to pop it’s vibrant golden hue. It’s coconutty scent clung to the sea air and was wafting about the gorgeous cliff tops. My mind wandered into thoughts of the next Limited Edition, our annually distilled Mothers Ruin Gin, just in time for Mothers Day 😉 Gorse will be added to the botanical mix along with layers of citrusy pomelo ( in season now) grains of paradise - a peppercorn that’s holds a slight cardamom note, ginger and tons of juniper. Not quite Cornwall in a bottle but flavours that combine to make a delectable and refreshing G&T, one hopes! This will be a small batch, to make sure you don’t miss out, stay tuned to pre - order a bottle.
