40 ml Old Captain Brown Rum
15 ml Vanilla vodka
90 ml Fresh apple juice
Cinnamon stick
Slices of apple
Ice

Simply combine all the ingredients in a glass with some ice, give a little stir and serve with a cinnamon stick and some slices of apple.

20 ml Old Captain Brown rum
10 ml lime liqueur
25 ml pineapple juice
2 scoops of vanilla ice cream
25 grams of fresh pineapple + extra for garnish
100 ml ginger beer

Cut the pineapple in small pieces and put in a glass or a pineapple cup. Shake the rum, lime liqueur and pineapple juice with ice in a shaker until well chilled. Pour through a sieve into the glass over the pieces of pineapple and add the scoops of ice cream. Top with the ginger beer and garnish with pineapple or whatever you like.

Mai Tai
One of the most famous and oldest tiki cocktails.

30 ml Old Captain White Rum
30 ml Old Captain Brown Rum
20 ml triple sec
lime juice from half a lime
10 ml almond syrup
garnish: mint and lime

Fill up a long drink or tiki glass with ice and add the brown rum. Pour the white rum, triple sec, lime juice and almond syrup into a shaker with ice. Shake until the cocktail is cold and pour into the glass. Garnish with lime and mint.

Old Captains Strawberry Collins

60 ml Old Captain White Rum
30 ml fresh lime juice
15 ml sugar syrup
4 strawberries
mint
sparkling water

Crush the strawberries with some mint leaves in a highball glass. Pour the rum, sugar syrup and lime juice into the glass and stir well. Fill with ice and top off with sparkling water. Garnish with strawberry and mint.

Trick or Treat! Get the Halloween spirit with this classic Zombie tiki cocktail

30 ml Old Captain White Rum
30 ml Old Captain Brown rum
10 ml absinth
10 ml maraschino liqueur
60 ml pineapple juice
40 ml orange juice
40 ml fresh lime juice
1 dash of grenadine

Pour all ingredients in a shaker with ice and shake until the cocktail is well chilled. Pour into a frightening glass and garnish with some mint.

A cocktail that suits one of those windy autumn days and another reason to stay indoors. Unless , of course, you don't have Old Captain Brown Rum (or any of the other ingredients) at home. Then you really need to get out and about.

How to make a Dark 'n Stormy.
45 ml Old Captain Brown Rum
15 ml fresh lime juice
120 ml ginger beer
1 dash angostura bitters
1 wedge of lime or lemon
a few mint leaves

Fill a highball glass with ice cubes. Add the rum, lime juice and angostura bitters. Then fill the glass with ginger ale and the mint leaves. Stir and garnish with lime or lemon.

Old Captains Daiquiri
50 ml Old Captain White Rum
25 ml fresh lime juice
2 scoops fine white sugar.

Add the ingredients into a shaker. Fill with ice cubes and shake until chilled. Pour through a (cocktail) strainer into a chilled cocktail coupe.

The 'tiki culture' emerged in the United States during the 1930s and is inspired by the tiki carving art of the Maoris. Polynesian culture experienced a revival in the 1930s and 1940s as many American servicemen returned from the Pacific. In addition also, Hawaii became a state within the United States in 1959. In this period the countless 'tiki bars' arose, where tropical cocktails were served in a tropical decor.

Piña Colada
30 ml Old Captain White Rum
30 ml coconut milk
1 spoon of condensed milk
30 ml pineapple juice
pineapple leaf

Fill a blender with all ingredients. Mix well and pour into a glass filled with ice. Garnish with a pineapple leaf.
