Feeling super empowered after the virtual town hall meeting last night 🙌 if you’re not able to compost right now, remember that there are plenty of ways you can use up your food before tossing it. For example: easily regrow spring onions and other veggies by placing them in a jar of water. Just chop off the tops as you go 🔪 what are some creative ways you use up your food scraps?

May 4 is NYC’s last day for curbside compost pickup 😓 but we’ve got your back with a few ideas to keep organic waste out of landfills:
• attend the town hall meeting, link to it through ’s bio
• places like and offer compost pickups for a small fee
• do some research in your neighborhood to see if any local gardens or schools are able to safely accept compost
• create your own backyard compost pile/bin
• create your own in-home compost bin with earth worms - is now selling some at USQ market

Happy Earth Day folks! Today we’re celebrating 10k - that’s ten thousand containers we’ve officially saved from going to landfill 👏👏 and we couldn’t have done any of it without all of you. We know changing habits isn’t easy, and it’s Fresh Bowl’s mission is to make sustainability simpler and more convenient for everybody - here’s to many more pieces of waste being saved and a very happy earth day to all 🌎
