MERRY MONKS OF MEAD 🐝
Unfortunately we are unable to attend this years Medieval and Rare Trades Festival, but look forward to seeing you at future events around the country and working along side Thistle meadery to grow mead and medieval in SA. 🔥⚔️
NEXT WEEKEND IN GUMERACHA 🔥⚔️
The Medieval and Rare Trades Festival looks forward to welcoming stallholders, crafts and reenactment groups to the annual Medieval and Rare Trades Festival next weekend.
This year we will have the largest display of medieval groups and reenactment in May with more than 8 groups taking part in this years event. This includes Adelaide Sword Academy, New Varangian Guard - Magnaura, New Varangian Guard- Ladoga, The Eastway Vikings, Legio XII Fulminata - Australia Warhounds Armoured Combat and more.
We encourage all patrons to walk round the park and adjoining hillside encampments, and enjoy the festivities of medieval Europe on show. Plus make sure to grab tickets to the Veizla Viking Feast in the hall.
We also have a great range of medieval stalls including many of South Australia’s known medieval event stallholders like Thistle meadery, The Lox Bow, The Tartan Rose: Pagan and Gothic Wares, Bed of Roses Jewelry, Speak In Spells, Highland Treasures "Where Quality and Value meet", Dragon's Blood Creations, The Medieval Shoppe, Australian Cider Co, Passion 4 Bricks, Threads Through Time, Bee Natural Skincare, Deb's Dresses & Dragons, Bohemian Fantasy, Scott's Armoury, The Country Witch's Cottage, LaLuna Palace, Ancient Earth Clothing, NinetyThree Percent Stardust, Apple & Ambrosia, The Witching Well, The Bead Forrest, Timeless Armoury and Castleforge Photography to name a few.
Unfortunately Dragon Steel & Leather and Merry Monks Of Mead are unable to attend this year but will be joining us along with a larger medieval contingent next year.
Make sure to enjoy medieval and Visit Adelaide Hills this May with the Gumeracha Medieval and Rare Trades Festival in Federation Park, Gumeracha. We would like to thank the Adelaide Hills Council, Gumeracha Football Club, Gumeracha Town Hall, Torrens Valley Tourism , Gumeracha Community Association and Torrens Valley Lions for all their assistance locally and in the hills to date.
Ticket information is available via the Facebook event and we encourage everyone to grab tickets before the event, or on the day via cash and card facilities at each gate.
