Well we made it! 😊 thank you so much to everyone who came to see us on our last day, and to all who came at 4 o'clock to wish us well for our retirement. For all the lovely cards and gifts, we simply can't put into words how special you all made us feel. We really love being part of such a lovely village community. Remember this from lockdown 1? Well we've been asked to do it again to boost the morale of our wonderful NHS workers during this terrible time! I'm sure you'll all remember how it works! You just buy 1 extra item when you do your shopping and put it in the boost box, then every weekend the items will be collected and taken to local hospitals. No fresh food please but anything like biscuits, crisps, sweets, chocolate etc or tea bags, coffee and bottles of squash. Let's all pull together and do what we can to help make the next few weeks a little better for them.

Another BIG THANKYOU and well done to our brilliant customers! A third Boost box has been sent off to the Royal Hampshire County Hospital. Staff at the hospital are so grateful to receive these boxes and look forward to getting them. 💪

Please keep donating towards our 4th Boost box being sent off this friday!

News of the cake donation Friday's and generosity of our lovely customers reached heart Radio last week and we were lucky enough to do an interview to spread the word even further, so please have a listen!

We are adhering to all the government guidelines regarding the recent outbreak of covid19.
All shop staff are wearing gloves and as always hygiene is a high priority. We continue to keep the shop clean using antibacterial cleaners as well as regular hand washing.
During this time, when shopping at The Corner Stores we ask that only one customer at a time enters the building and customers waiting should keep to 2 metres apart We will work as fast as we can to make sure your wait time is as short as possible.
If you would prefer contactless local delivery, please either phone or email through your order. This is available to new and existing customers. Card Payment can be made over the phone.
