Slumber party at PURRsonal Space - South Jersey's 1st Cat Lounge. To help new cats transition from foster home to the Lounge, Lori or I will spend a few nights with them. This was one such overnight stay, showing the kitties snuggled in some of their favorite areas.
Dan and I would like to share the process of when kitties come to PURRsonal Space - South Jersey's 1st Cat Lounge... he or I remain with the cats and sleep over to welcome them and ensure everyone is getting along, eating, drinking, using the litter box, feeling safe and comfortable, and alleviate any stress experienced. We provide each cat with a new bed and toys so they have something with only their scent and also have their blankets they arrived with. We give them so much love -- or space if that's what they prefer -- and reassurance is sometimes needed, but each cat has acclimated so well and quickly, despite a growl or hiss here and there to establish they're not ready to socialize with one another, but never to Dan nor I, or any of our human PURRsonal Space family! During our progress report chats we love sharing who snuggled up with us!
