In addition to our passion projects within the Eastside family of brands, we have strategically enhanced our capabilities to bring new and trending products to the market with the acquisitions of Big Bottom Distilling, Motherlode Bottling Services, Craft Canning + Bottling and Azuñia Tequila, from Intersect Beverage. Each of these subsidiaries functions as an aid to our mission. Specializing in batch and bulk distillation, Big Bottom Distilling excels in the artistry of spirit design with accolades amassed for quality and taste. Relocating to Motherlode’s co-packing facilities in 2017 maximized the efficiencies of our operations and significantly decreased overhead. Craft Canning brings years of expertise to the business with their team of professional bottlers and operators. Serving Oregon, Washington, and Colorado, they are the West’s premier source for contract packaging. Increasing our stake in others who share the same ideals and passion for what they do as we do has been tremendously rewarding to the company. Our greatest asset is the talented folks that we’ve picked up along the way.

Our barrel room is where all the magic happens. Every drop of Burnside is a masterful blend of different whiskeys touched in some meaningful way by Oregon White Oak. It’s a technique we pioneered in 2012: resting bourbon in Garry oak casks to infuse a bit of Pacific Northwest terroir into Southern Bourbon. And it worked. Sensationally well.

Unlike most distillers, Azuñia produces its tequila after following a natural, open-air fermentation process that can take as long as a week to complete. Double-distilled and extracted at 46% ABV, the product ultimately clocks in at 40% ABV following the addition of a pure, on-property water source. Azuñia’s tequila then makes it way to bottles for Blanco blends or barrels for Reposado or Anejo varieties
